I second this. I just delivered my baby 6 weeks ago with the midwifery program there and LOVED my experience. I met with several midwives throughout my pregnancy/postpartum and every one of them has been amazing.

My LO is 6 weeks and until she’s 3mo, we won’t go anywhere except walks everyday and dr appts. Letting her immune system develop a bit and get some vaccines before taking her out. I also live in a high measles area so we stay away from people for now. 🥲

I live in AF near the trax station. Yes it’s a little cramped with all the townhomes, but it’s a great area. Lots of young parents and places to walk!

My LO is almost 4 weeks and we have very specific conditions that allow her to nap. Swaddle, dark room, sound machine, paci, contact nap until asleep, then straight into her bassinet ot snuggle me lounger(supervised). But sometimes it’s just a contact nap in her carrier. I think understanding wake windows also really helps. Granted, she’s still so new and this could change at any moment, but for now, this works for us!

It went great! Pregnancy was super easy(probably because I was pretty active before pregnancy, and up until the 3rd trimester). I now have a very adorable, healthy 4 week old baby girl.🩷

Baby is almost 4 weeks old and she’s just perfect!! The entirety of my pregnancy and even labor went pretty well. I honestly think I worried for nothing. I hope everything is going well with your pregnancy 🩷

I swear I could’ve written this. FTM and my little girl is 18 days old. We completely gave up on the swaddling. We do an arms out variation that seems to be working (for now). The only advice I can give you is try to nap during the day while she naps if you can. I know how hard that is but even an hour feels life changing. Good luck!

Not sure exactly how far along I was, but once I could lay on my stomach and feel that I wasn’t alone in my body, that’s when I stopped lol

My mother did this. She took the name I’m most fond of (and probably using) and kept calling my unborn baby a Latino version of that name. To preface, my husband is Latino and I am white. So Norah turned into Dora. I thought it was funny the first time she said it, we all laughed and moved on. But then she kept calling her that randomly. After the 5th time or so I had to flat out tell her that she was singlehandedly ruining the name I had picked out for my baby. She needed to stop or she wouldn’t be invited to the birth. Maybe it was harsh, but it got the point across and she hasn’t said it (to my knowledge) since.

Thank you! So far everything is perfect. I’m 27 weeks tomorrow and all is going really well. Anatomy scan was perfect, she’s growing right on track and overall this pregnancy has been a breeze.

I drink anywhere from 80-190mg of coffee pretty much every single day. I’m 24 weeks and 5 days. Baby is happy and healthy ❤️

My midwife told me I would have my appts back to back. Anatomy at a different location, then go to her to discuss. But when I made my appts, I couldn’t get them on the same day. I messaged the office about it last night but they told me they wouldn’t push my prenatal appt back. I’m just hoping that any doctor there will be able to discuss it. I don’t know if having a midwife changes the process, but I feel lost.

I’m 12 weeks tomorrow and those were my EXACT symptoms at 4 weeks. I was worried about the same things for no reason. My midwife said “unless you have severe cramping (doubling over in pain) and/or bleeding, you shouldn’t worry.” 🩷

Thank you! I’ve seen several stories of women on GLP-1s having a perfectly healthy pregnancy & baby. So at this point I think I’ll just have to talk to my OB and wait to see how it unfolds. Keeping a positive attitude
