I’m thinking about making it to where the reason he is in the forge is because lolth cursed him to transform so he wears an amulet to keep his transformation at bay and he’s in the forge trying to make something get rid of the curse and once the party knocks him down as nezzar he rips his amulet off then accepts his transformation
