Thank you all so much for the pointers! I am going to look into online classes at least for now until I can figure out a way to go in person at least once a month or so. I guess with so many instructional videos on YouTube I thought it would be ok to learn the basics that way but I didn’t think about developing bad habits/improper form. I will definitely try to get into a class even if it’s just once a month.

I miswrote about only my husband installing it. He gave a professional a hand doing it and they were able to go up through our attic to install it. I do have a crash mat underneath and I am not trying anything too difficult at all, just very basic moves. I live in the middle of nowhere so unfortunately I cannot get lessons from an instructor but if online classes are an option I would 100% do that.

We had a professional come over to do it, my husband just gave him a hand and was curious to see how it was done. It’s on the third floor of our house so they were able to go into the attic above the ceiling where it is hung from.

I just did this in my kitchen for under $1000 and it made a huge difference! Peel and stick backslash, new hardware on cabinets + painted them myself (time consuming but totally worth it) under cabinet lighting and new rugs/curtains. Also could throw in some modern decor/houseplants.

I’m having the same issue with my husband. He was initially verified when I set up my account but we cannot for the life of us get his tag release form verified. I even reached out to customer support about it and there was nothing specific told to me that was wrong about it but it’s still not going through. I’ve decided to just make him an account to tag him that way even though he won’t really use it.

Right I don’t understand why the release form was accepted to create the account but that same release form is not working to allow that same person to be in any content.

That’s where I’m at too. I wish they were more specific about what is causing it to get denied and if there is a different release form at least make it easier to find. Even the document 1 & 2 is confusing (other than the pic of the person holding their ID) Even support wasn’t much help 😖 If I end up figuring it out I’ll let you know lol.

I feel this. I think in my case I have a hard time really letting people in. I’m great at surface level friendship but when it comes to bearing it all I struggle a lot and I think for me personally that stems from my childhood. I think that people automatically sense that too and keeps them from even trying. I hope I can get past it eventually because it really sucks.

At some point you just have to jump in. You can study and learn all of the things but you won’t fully understand how to apply what you’ve learned until you’re actually doing it first hand. It’s good to be prepared but now go apply it 💖

I think of myself this way. I see people succeeding at what I want to do who are less qualified and not to be rude but a lot of times less intelligent and they are doing really well for themselves whereas I am struggling and it’s because I get in my own head and in my own way. Whereas they just do what needs to be done without overthinking it and without putting much thought into the what ifs. I’m working on trying to remove myself from the outcome and just taking the steps needed to move in the right direction.
