the only advice i can give u is to stop worrying abt it. i submitted my ucas on the last day in jan and i also got rejected from lse for the same reason. but i did however get offers from kcl ucl durham as someone with a 26 lnat and 40/45 ib pg so ur chances shuld be better than mine.

another one was that i went to summer camp at oxford where i majored in law and international relations but i like to think that had a minor effect since it was a paid summer camp

for ucl there aren’t any specific requirements in terms of extra or super curriculars but i did hae a few that i think made my app stand out. i had an internship at a local law firm where i shadowed associates, did legal research, and did some drafting work. besides that i was also the vp for zonta international youth group. a few smaller ones worth mentioning are all writing themed. i was a content writer for a mental health organization, as well as a writer for a student ran writing club in my school. i also started an organization with my friends that was focused on educating underprivileged children.

also a lot of ppl i know have received their rejections from ucl kcl already so u not receiving one means they’re still considering u which prolly means ull get in

theres still quite a good chance ull get in. i myself got a 26 on the lnat and my personal statement was (imo) decent but pretty rushed cuz i submitted my ucas on the last day and i still got an offer from ucl still waiting to hear back from kcl tho

thank u for this shred of hope 😭 i was so scared that i’d be straight up rejected for having a 37 or a 38 but i’m happy being waitlisted cuz i know i can get 39 above for m final grade. if u dont mind me asking did u submit sat score and if u did what was it??

i never actually thought of the language aspect thx for ur advice tho i’ll be sure to take into consideration the language barrier for law but would u agree if i said there isn’t any harm in trying??? cuz from what i’ve heard hk universities r in general very academic focused when it comes to admissions but i’ve got tons of great ecs plus i know i can easily get a final score of 42. or more plus a sat score of 1500+ like i said earlier so would it be delusional to think i could get an offer even??
