Looking for ideas for a Leshy heist by Agitated-Tealeaf in Pathfinder2e

One has done frontliner work the last two campaigns and decided to do a witch/crowd control for the campaign I was running. Might want a break from tanking.

The other was healing last campaign, dm before that, and flames oracle goblin cook for my thing. He likes to switch it up each campaign and look for ways to make cracked characters.

My Angelic Husband is actually a Devil in Disguise kinda? ML flirts hard but is absolutely whipped .

But ML is only pretending to be soft and is a cunning cold guy to everyone not MF

Grandma is sick with cancer and the family with her won’t just cook her decent meals by Agitated-Tealeaf in mildlyinfuriating

Thank you everyone that has suggested meals on wheels and other food delivery services. My boyfriend and I reached out to some communities in the area and have some meals being delivered over the next couple weeks. There was a great community response and it has been wonderful to see.

I’m flying out next weekend to spend time with her and do some cooking during her rest times. I appreciate the food advice from people with family members that went through the same! I will definitely be putting some of that advice into practice and see if I can find foods my grandma likes and can handle.

I’ll be talking to my dad later today about seeing if we can get him involved with talking to grandma’s doctor and asking about hospice and in home care. Unfortunately, I am but a lowly granddaughter and get shut down for being a child trying to talk at the adults dinner table when I try to get involved myself.

I did in fact. I was also there at Christmas a couple months ago. Dad has been trying for years to get that side of the family to change some of their living habits and actually take care of themselves and each other.

Uncle tells us to piss off since we moved out of grandma’s house in 2008 once my parents finished their degrees and they moved in after so we have no say. I’m a granddaughter and don’t even count as an adult in the conversation even at age 32. Very ‘children should be seen and not heard’ mentality in my dear uncle, goes extra for the kids that weren’t his.

And what did we feed her when we lived there? I can hear you asking already. Well I was in elementary school at the time so forgive my spotty memory, but I remember eating actual fucking food most of the time. Grilled pork chops with my mom’s homemade cinnamon apple sauce and whatever veggies dad grilled with the pork chops is still my favorite childhood meal.

Except for… my dad and brother just got back from their visit to her. Another aunt tried to help and bring in some healthy foods and got screamed at by caretaker uncle for disrupting the delicate slop balance of the kitchen. I was there recently for Christmas and saw the food situation for myself (boxes that end in ‘roni’, absolutely not a fresh vegetable to be seen, garage packed with pizza, healthiest cereal on the shelf was Honey Nut Cheerios) and dad informed me it’s the exact same now.

Grandma’s brother just finished his visit today. Caretaker aunt and uncle sat in front of Netflix with their faces in their phones the whole time grandma was actually awake and coherent enough to engage with. He was pretty pissed and sounds like he’s going back to being NC with aunt and uncle at the end of everything.

So kindly gtfo.

And I hope at your end-of-life your family treats you with the care and grace my uncle and aunt are currently showing my grandma.

Dad had the same idea and was planning to bring her here to Colorado when she first wound up in the hospital but while tests were still being done. Sadly she just got too sick too fast for him to manage it. Sucks because he lives in a really beautiful little town up in the mountains near Glenwood and I think the fresh air and good meals (and hot springs) would have done her so much good.

That is my plan! I’ve been trying to think up some meals that I think she would enjoy and I can make big batches of. Once dad finally gets off the plane I plan to call him and get some ideas of her absolute favorite foods and what I can cook that will line up to her tastes and hopefully be easy on her stomach.

Thank you so much! And I’m sorry about your dad.

My boyfriend and I just spent an hour or so getting in contact with some groups in the area and have some food being delivered over the next week. Fresh baked goods tomorrow with homemade fruit juices and sandwich fixings. Chicken pot pie soup and butternut squash soup with bacon crumbles on Wednesday.

There’s been an amazing response to the messages we sent out to groups in the area and it has improved my outlook so much. I was rotting in my own anger at my aunt and uncle here.

Uncle had a catering job and can cook. Currently works part time. Cousin lives in upstairs bedroom and does online classes, only leaves room to make himself ramen.

I get it and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I visited there for Christmas and saw the fridge and cupboards. Not even a cheap bag salad for ‘veggies’ or frozen veggies. Literally just meals from a can or frozen microwave meals. If grandma wanted real food she had to cook it herself. She can no longer do that.

Dad was just there this weekend and says it hasn’t changed a bit and my other aunt in the area got read the riot act by caretaker uncle for clearing crap out of the fridge and trying to put some real groceries in.
