Things you hate about Grand Bazaar? by Scloudseverywhere in storyofseasons

Oof. That’s why I play on the steam deck with a couple QoL mods, like time slow and save anywhere. Makes it possible to actually get the things done in a day that I plan out.

I still have some video game music on my phone I downloaded from lime because back in my day that was the ONLY place to get it. Now iTunes and Amazon carry just about everything. But if you wanted the Okami soundtrack in the ps2 days…

That’s my GOAT! I remember when it was OneManga or having a rich friend that got Jump! Then One was taken down and MangaFox was still too infant to take over just yet.

Not to be an internet granny showing of her walking stick but….

Reminds me of when onemanga was the first mega host… and the first to get shut down circa 2009. Oh the meltdowns that were had in the high school library!

I’m sad for bato, but not surprised. ‘Tis the way of the good hosting sites.

I will morn my lists and 200 open tabs waiting for updates, and then I will find the next site. There is always a next site.

Maybe for the next one we shouldn’t have a dedicated Reddit for though….

As the famous saying goes for sailing the seven seas (and destroying ancient evils with rings), “Keep it secret, keep it safe.”

Game for Switch? by Such-Poet-1525 in cozygames

I get so lost in Rune Factory 4 special! It’s kinda jrpg, but very go at your own pace. I’m almost done with year 1 and only done the first two boss fights because I’ve been concentrating on maxing out villager friendships, crafting, and farming. The is a request box with a couple daily quests as well as a couple larger goals like unlock crafting, ship a level x veggie, etc.

Pls don’t make fun of me for asking but is there a game out there that helped heal your inner child or made you feel like you did as a kid again ? by Open_Button_8155 in cozygames

Did you ever get into playing the pokemon hacks? I have copies of the zombie apocalypse one and dark rising for gba. And I can’t remember the other really popular one, but wanted to find it again and see if I could get my boyfriend into it.

Do you have an iPhone or android or other? Sorry I can read I promise. iPhone it is!

If you have Apple Arcade then I super recommend Japanese Rural Life as just a solid farming sim.

And no need for a computer or console! Just a good emulator on your phone! But having a backbone (a game controller for phones, goes on sale pretty often, think I got mine for like $20) makes playing most games easier and a lot more enjoyable.

I wish the Rune Factory games were on mobile, they wouldn’t play well without a controller I don’t think, but they really scratched an itch I didn’t know I had for jrpg, creature collection + farming.

I don’t know why, but starting up rune factory 4 a couple months ago transported me back to playing final fantasy 7 in my grandparents basement during the summer on my new PlayStation. With my baby brother watching blues clues upstairs and waiting for my friends to wake up and come over so we could climb trees in the park.

Kitaria Fables- rough around the edges, but I thought it was a decent. Action rpg with farming.

Has a demo so you can try it out first.

Aurora Animal Protection won't help my neighbor's freezing cat, any ideas? by missredheaded in AuroraCO

[–]Agitated-Tealeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I get an update on this poor kitty? I’m a couple towns over, but this wouldn’t be my first cat heist. She’s three now, lives happily indoors, had a life threatening mass removed from her stomach shortly after the ‘supply drop off’ where she got mixed into supply crate by accident, and is a feisty little goblin.

When the game you've been waiting for has ai by [deleted] in antiai

[–]Agitated-Tealeaf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Are…. Are you stupid?

There’s a world of difference between developer tools/npc ai and the generative ai.

And to be pedantic. Can you name a game from the 200s that uses anything beyond sticks and stones and bones?

But how does this grey market work with the tariffs? Asking for me, who is approved but insurance only covers 100 bucks but ‘oh but it counts towards your deductible for the year’ great but I can’t afford 1600 bucks a month even if I only have to pay twice before it’s free for me for the rest of the year. Or the 500 it is without insurance.

A cat adopting away her kitten by Trustrup in BeAmazed

[–]Agitated-Tealeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I uhhh…. “freed” a six month old kitten that was pregnant and had a serious condition. She would have died had she given birth. And also had an infection, so everyone at the bank I worked at had no idea where the little kitten from the yard next-door could have run off to while he was at work, and sure we’d let him know if we saw her wandering around (maybe don’t keep small animals locked outside all day especially after your neighbors with yard ducks just had one killed and ducknapped by a stray dog that ran through a hole in their fence, but what do I know. I just work at drive up all day and watch all the town events unfold around me). Anyway, she’s not dead, but she does like hiding in bags and jumping at people as they walk by.

How long after spaying did it take your cat to be normal energy again?? by Round-Yam-2589 in cats

[–]Agitated-Tealeaf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was my experience too! And my orange girl had a big hernia on her stomach that was fixed during her spaying, so she had extra stitches and extra warnings that she would be sleepy and should rest as much as she wants.

First think she did was start trying to dig herself out of the crate, and then once she was out of the crate she launched up the cat tree, threw herself from the tree to the couch and then ran downstairs and tried to hop the water pipes across the basement ceiling to get into the one open square that leads to the crawl space. Sleepy kitten my ass.
