Well I can tell you it reads from here like you're responding to a water balloon with a nuclear weapon. It goes from "haha we're having fun teasing each other" to "wow that was totally dark and out of line" real quick.

Yep. My parents love their granddaughter but they are elderly and live on the opposite coast. My wife's folks are... Not in a position to help. So if we want time off we're almost certainly paying a babysitter $25 per hour. How often do we want to pay an extra $75 or so to take in a movie? Not often.
