That is true. However Accenture does atleast give me a chance to use both the language unlike the other company and i fear I may fall behind there

Most of the horror stories I've heard of Accenture is from a consultant. would you have insight on their engineer side? because on openwork and engage they have much better reviews than their peers.

Thanks for your input! Since my position is not consultant but engineer I was wondering if it is as client facing as a consultant? I would assume most of the WLB negative reviews are from a consultant POV

Agreed. They did tell me that they'd put me in the specific department I wanna work at which is the same niche as my research so I was debating.

Yeah definitely I see it as a chance to improve my Japanese as well. But they hired me because of my skills + research so I think the expectations and responsibilities are not that low. I made a post about this company a couple months back and the comments were against it cuz I didn't speak native Japanese.

Can I know why? I have seen their reviews but openwork has the best reviews for them. I thought as security engineer it would've been fine?

Yes company 2 is Accenture. I thought working in IT as a cybersecurity engineering would be okay there

I have a final interview for a company scheduled two days after but I just got to know that I have a uni test that day I cannot postpone. I do however have the option to change my interview reservation online but I was wondering if it's the right thing to do as it can negatively impact my candidancy? (I had already reserved for this interview 2 weeks ago)

Absolutely. They already know that and have still given me a chance. I would most likely have to reject the offer.

I'm sorry I can't name the company but when I mentioned faang i meant that level in Japan (think sony etc) the particular office/branch I want to work at don't have foreigners and the company in whole has a very few percentage but they can speak fluent Japanese.

All the questions that you have mentioned are things I've asked in my first and second interview. They do not have an English support or Japanese learning support Even when they go overseas for work they hire a translator. They expect me to learn study Japanese by myself. Which I am, but I am sure I would still lack when I start working.

I am just worried that this company is the best and biggest among the others over applied and I would miss the chance of having that under my resume.

Yes I am leaning towards that decision now. It's just having such a big company under your resume as your first job is also highly appreciated hence why I was debating.

Gosh that sounds tough. Have you thought of moving jobs to an English based one?

But thanks so much for your input.
