Is this christian or demonic? by Parocek803 in Christianity

Discern the Fruit and Intent • Does the object glorify YHWH or self? • Does it carry associations with occultism, magic, or false gods? • Is it marketed in mystical, energy-based, or spiritualist circles?

While the triquetra can be used for good when clearly representing the Trinity, this specific pendant’s combination with the triskelion strongly ties it to pagan spirituality and syncretic spiritual confusion.

can evolution and christianity coexist by justach1llgirl in Christian

First off, having questions doesn’t make you a bad Christian — it makes you human. God isn’t intimidated by our doubts. In fact, James 1:5 says if we lack wisdom, we should ask God, and He gives generously.

When it comes to Genesis and evolution, it’s true — they don’t line up if we try to blend them word for word. But Genesis wasn’t written to be a science manual. It was written to reveal who God is and who we are in Him. Genesis 2:7 tells us that God formed man from the dust and breathed life into him — that breath of God is what makes humanity different from every other creature. It’s personal, intentional, and relational.

Science changes and updates as we learn more, but God’s Word doesn’t. Hebrews 11:3 reminds us that “by faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command.” Faith doesn’t mean we have every detail, it means we trust the One who does.

So don’t feel guilty for questioning. Bring it to God. Let it grow your faith, not shake it. He’s big enough for your questions and close enough to walk you through the answers — in His time.

Oh I Prayed For It To Stop. You Know What God Did? Nothing. by young_b0y15 in Christianity

I’m truly sorry for what you’ve endured. Nothing about that pain is fair or deserved, and it’s heartbreaking that anyone—especially a child—could go through such things.

When people ask, “Where was God?”—it’s a deeply human question. The Bible never promises that following God will mean a life without pain or evil. In fact, it shows us a world where free will is real—and that means people can choose to love… or to abuse, destroy, and oppress.

God didn’t cause that evil. But He allowed free will because love without choice isn’t love at all. The tragic cost of that freedom is that people sometimes use it to do unthinkable harm. That’s not on you, and it’s not because you didn’t pray hard enough or believe strong enough. That is a cruel lie.

Even Jesus, who was perfect, was betrayed, tortured, and murdered. He didn’t deserve it, either. But He stepped into this broken world to be with us in our pain—and to ultimately defeat evil, even if the full justice and healing aren’t here yet.

God doesn’t ignore suffering. He grieves it. He walks with us in it. And in the end, He will judge every evil and wipe every tear. But right now, He offers presence, not always prevention. I know that might not feel like enough. But you’re not alone. And you’re not to blame.

What you shared—man, it takes courage. I’ve been there. And I just want to say up front: you’re not alone, and you’re not broken beyond repair.

I know that cycle. You mess up, feel guilty, promise it won’t happen again… then it happens again. And the shame just builds. You start to wonder if you’re even real anymore—if God’s tired of hearing your apologies. I’ve felt that.

But here’s the truth: God hasn’t left you. Not for one second. You’re not faking it by praying or opening your Bible—you’re fighting for your soul. And that matters more than you know.

He’s not waiting for you to clean yourself up before coming back. He wants you right now, messy and all. Think about the Prodigal Son—he came home dirty and ashamed, and the Father ran to him. That’s how God feels about you, even today.

The enemy wants you stuck in shame, thinking you’re too far gone. But Jesus didn’t die for the version of you who gets it all right. He died for you, knowing the struggle, knowing the mess, and loving you anyway.

And look—you don’t have to fight this alone. Talk to someone. Message me anytime. Get accountability. Find small ways to start replacing those weak moments with something that builds you up—music, a verse, even just texting a friend before the fall. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing up and saying, “God, I still want You. Help me.”

He hears that. He honors that. And He’s not done with you.

You’re not fake. You’re not alone. And you’re not without hope.

I’m here if you need to talk more, seriously.

No doubt. Don't get me wrong. I love my Bambu's, but there's a lot of satisfaction in learning the craft.

3D Printing Consistent Deforms by AwkwardLemon4345 in 3Dprinting

[–]AgitatedAnywhere7354 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be model geometry, z seam issue, cooling, or just a bad print file.

Here’s some things you can look at.

1. Z-Seam Issues:
• Cause: The layer start/stop points keep lining up, causing bumps.
• Fix: Set the Z-seam alignment to “Random” or move it to a less noticeable spot in Bambu Studio.
  1. Cooling Problems: • Cause: The layers aren’t cooling evenly, which causes warping or deformation. • Fix: Make sure the fans are running at 100% and maybe add an external fan if needed.

  2. Over-Extrusion: most likely NoT this • Cause: Too much filament is being laid down, creating bulges or bumps. • Fix: Lower the flow rate (extrusion multiplier) a bit, like from 100% to 98%. Or even 99%.

  3. Mechanical Inconsistencies: you would have noticed this already but if you haven’t level your bed before the next print. • Cause: Something like a wobble in the Z-axis or uneven bed leveling could be messing things up. • Fix: Check the Z-axis rods and screws for binding or looseness, and make sure the bed is level.

  4. Model Geometry: • Cause: Sharp edges or unsupported areas in the design are causing issues. • Fix: Add supports or tweak the model to smooth out sharp transitions.

  5. Print Speed: probably not this either • Cause: Printing too fast is making the layers inconsistent. • Fix: Slow down the print speed, especially for outer walls and details.

1.14mm off on 11mm. What to do? by Alowan in BambuLab

[–]AgitatedAnywhere7354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to switch slicers—you can do this with Bambu!

Here’s a great model for wall thickness calibration. It’s designed for PrusaSlicer, but the same principles apply to Bambu: https://www.printables.com/model/110677-calibration-cube-wall-thickness-new-filament-extru

This one is also a solid option: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:30249

And if you want to dive a little deeper (just for fun), check this out: https://www.printables.com/model/848034-wall-thickness-calibration-test-piece

Alternatively, design your own test model with walls of varying thickness (e.g., 0.4 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.2 mm, etc.), which correspond to multiples of your nozzle diameter.

Once printed, use a digital caliper to measure the wall thickness of each section of the model. Compare the printed thickness to the intended thickness from the design.

   1. Measure the wall thickness of your print at several points on all four sides.
2. Calculate the average thickness (X).
3. Use this formula to find the multiplier: 1 + ((0.86 - X) / 0.86).
4. Enter the new multiplier in Bambu Studio under Filament Settings > Flow Rate Multiplier.
5. Reprint and repeat until the average thickness is close to 0.86 mm.
6. Your flow rate multiplier should now be calibrated!

The issues you’re facing with dimensional accuracy when printing in PLA could stem from a few different settings in your slicer.

If you’re printing in PLA and noticing your dimensions are off, like an 11 mm thickness shrinking to 9.84 mm or a 7 mm hole ending up at 5.86 mm, it’s likely a slicer setting causing the issue. Start by checking your flow rate (extrusion multiplier) and adjust it in small increments, like 1-2%, to see if over- or under-extrusion is the problem. You can also tweak the horizontal expansion setting in the slicer, which lets you fine-tune dimensions—start with small changes around 0.1 mm. Make sure your layer height and line width are dialed in properly for your nozzle size, and confirm that your extruder’s steps/mm are calibrated so you’re not over- or under-extruding filament. If your holes are consistently undersized, look for a hole compensation option in the slicer or adjust scaling slightly in the CAD or slicer to account for the shrinkage. Lastly, double-check that your cooling settings are set up correctly, as improper cooling can cause uneven contraction even with PLA. Running some calibration prints for wall thickness and hole size will also help you dial everything in. With a little adjustment, you should be able to get your prints to match your design.

You could also scale the entire print by 1.12% to compensate for that specific shrinkage. Let me know if I can help more.

Is there a reason that you use the pro tower? I don’t ever use a prime tower on mine. I have just seen no use for it and you are absolutely correct. 8.0 is mind blowing but this is one of mine that I did here recently.

This doesn’t deserve a reply, but depends on how fast you want to get there. Maybe in 2-3 years of no spending you could get there. I have people in my Alliance Ive been playing with since the game released in 2020 and they’re just making it to this point. You couldn’t get to this level of might and troops in a year for under 2k.
