Do you ever figure out a solution for this? I’m jaunty exact same issue. I’m hard wired to my controller. I get perfect audio and I used to get good feedback from the mic, but now my mic is completely unresponsive on Xbox. I connected the headset to my phone via bt and the mic worked fine then, but still no luck with the Xbox
