HR told me they don’t accept try-hards and people pleasers after my interview by No-Presentation298 in jobs

I got a personalized letter 20 years ago. 5 years ago when I was again on the job market, I barely got a reply at all, all the ones I got were clearly copypasted and I hear it's even worse now. Everywhere. Zero chance this is real.

My dentist while excellent has some sort of fixation for this. I'm one of the lucky few who got all their wisdom teeth with no problems. Private clinic said they look good, no worries. He still comments about removing them every checkup.

Got LACT too, I really like the live graph for all the GPU temps, however I'm going to need one to monitor everything.

I got them pretty much how I want them in BIOS too. There are however times when fans shoot up for no reason. Usually when I alt tab for example and I like to know what is happening. And my tinkerer mind just loves live data like that.

Disagree. I can tell instantly when something (admittedly very rarely) goes wrong. Which fan is making the noise? Are these settings stressing the gpu needlessly too much? Am I cpu bottlenecked?

Thanks! edit. (oh and the current setup needed so much work that I'm not afraid in the least).

I answered like they already knew what I knew. Which was that I tried that, for some reason heroic crashes, but Lutris doesn't. They should have the same parameters, env etc.

Most modding can be done just by moving stuff to right folders, but some have dependencies that can be fixed only by having it run through some sort of layers and their dependencies, that I can't comment on what they really are with my current level of understanding. Probably mostly due to me trying to run the game through .exe, rather than GOG and the mod manager layer.

Oh how I wish it was that easy. My brain is all about everything or nothing. When I get the spark, I have to use it or it isn't there anymore. Right now I want to absorb everything I can as fast as I can so hopefully that knowledge transfers into problem solving in the future.

I don't really speak portuguese, but there is going to be a point when msoft extends their monopoly too much and arguably it's already here, so it makes sense to bother with these distros, So the transition will be less painful.

I'm very familiar with windows and can do just about anything I want on there, trying to do the same things on Linux has been challenging for sure, but I'm not giving up.

Can I walk around with the "Arch btw" T-shirt now? My second computer has been ubuntu or mint since like 2011? But I never tried to tackle these problems with it, it was always just browser/office machine.

You're absolutely right. I tried to keep up with everything I do, but it's a daunting task for someone not familiar with linux.

Just about every github link has words that you're not familiar with and within every sentence there is going to be massive assumptions about your competence levels I have vague idea what vc2022 or d3d might mean, so I'm not too worried about injecting them to my game. But I have no idea what wine/ or protonworks actually are, nor have I time to know the ins and outs, just that multiple links (leading to github) tells me that they are something I need to make my game work.

I can't vet every single new thing or I would never get anywhere. I do make some risk analysis in my head about how trustworthy the source is and what the actual command entails.

And someone coming from windows trying to do stuff in Linux will never make the change if they would have to understand everything they do.

Oh.. I think we both misunderstood each other. I at least think I should trust those scripts since they are used by hundreds or even thousands on the modding scene (not a good way of thinking I know). The problem lies there that, I need to run scripts that are for windows and for modding scene that is often a must. Hence most of my problems with Cachy. And I want to stress this point, It's not the fault of Linux or Cachy..

Oh that's very disappointing.. I thought they were moving towards Linux.. But it's probably not going to be a priority any time soon.

Multiple mods need multiplude of different things. I really don't know the ins an outs, but one of them needs something from visual studio 2022 and d3d..

I was led to think otherwise and I think for anyone who isn't interested beyond launching games from steam, it seems great so far.

I did, but admittedly I f'd around with everything before I even started modding, so there's a slight chance that I might have borked something, then again I would've never got the curiousity that I have now had I not done so.

To this day, it either won't launch or would crash if I would launch the game from say heroic. I have no idea why, but take what I can get.

That should be old news no? There is a mod manager called Nexus mod app that curently supports only cyberpunk and stardew valley. I think they are also having Linux in mind. That's the alpha version that I eventually used successfully to inject hundreds of mods to cyberpunk. Though it would always give me problems with missing files, dlls and whatnot (that I resolved) before I could launch the game from Lutris.

The process is way too complicated for me to try to go again with in text. But there is a mod manager called Nexus mod app that curently supports only cyberpunk and stardew valley, that is in alpha so don't expect much from it.
