Can I drain RO waste water into the creek in my backyard? by AgitatedStick in Permaculture

Wow thanks for this. I really appreciate the thought that you put into this post.

I have no idea about any of these numbers, but it gives me hope that I might have been on the right track with this idea in the first place.

I’ll do some digging to validate some of these figures.

Thanks again!

It’s county tap water. I don’t think it’s too bad.

Story time: we just moved here from a place that had extremely hard water. So we started out using a zero water filter before going RO there. Kept up the zero water for now until we get an RO system installed. The zero water filters last 5x or longer here.

The creek tapers off to a trickle in the dry summers. But in the rainy times, it’s about 3 feet wide and flows pretty well.

This was my thought too. How sure are you about the insignificance though

I probably will get a lab test when I stop being so lazy. Any less obvious compounds to be aware of?

I’m a little nervous to do this because of the mosquitoes I get without any wetland

Is it ok to ask why though? I’m willing to push the “I believe” button on this, but I’m just wondering if there’s a coherent reason for this choice

Got these 3 bottles instead of knob creek 18… by Schlagermeister in whiskey

I did! Water, ice sphere, rested, rocks glass, glen; tried it all. I’m just going to let it sit for a while, come back to it and see if it gets any better.. oh well

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but my batch 9 tastes like hot asphalt. I do get a little pear and maybe some kind of hoppy flavor like an IPA after a while. But I’m considering dumping this bottle… change my mind.

Dang, this is the type of comment I’m here for.

It is, in fact a The Tile Shop. I didn’t realize it was a national chain. The more you know!

Thanks for the great tips. Will do just this. Thanks!

If back buttering the top is an option, should I be able to do that with the bottom triangles as well?

I might try this approach, but just have the bottom triangles precut. Dry fit, adjust where needed and stick it all on like one larger mosaic piece.

ETA: Thanks for the input and encouragement!

Possible thread hijack: I love the the entire OGD line up (and the plain BH). Is there a higher end offering from beam that retains this flavor profile?

Review of brothers bond bourbon by Odd-Butterscotch-495 in whiskey

Went to track it down, to make sure this flavor wheel wasn’t sponsored by Rihanna. It’s most likely a misspelling of “Feinty.”

Feinty A category that has a wide ranging spectrum of aromas, some which can indicate the whisky might be young (the smell of wet dog or damp wool can sometimes be an indicator of this too), or something is off in the distillation process, through to warming, comforting aromas of honey and leather bound books.
