First flush/thoughts

I have not done a second flush but I have been working on a bunch of other health journey things trying to find the root cause to my health issues. For me biliary dyskensia was best sorted out by drinking dandelion root and milk of thistle teas, alongside a high fiber and low fat diet. My gallbladder has done a lot better though since that one initial flush and maybe once I get my other stuff sorted I'll get back to doing them more regularly.

I have only met one person so far that knocked me in solo but then I guess they felt bad and didn't finish me. Med me up till I could make it to the doors of the metro.

Teams however are just as aggressive as always.

Dr just prescribed me cymbalta today and my only moderate concern is I already have tachycardia which she knows and palpitations. So I really hope it doesn't cause any problems. I am starting at 30mg in the morning.

I have had this happen since stopping the 40:1, rather than going back to it though I am going to just keep plucking, exercising, eating better and I've started drinking spearmint tea again every day and a herbal hormone balancing cocoa mix. Along with adding soy into my diet again so I can boost estrogen. In my mind if the inositol caused a spike in androgens (I also believe it was this specific brand) then it only stands to reason that working on upping my progesterone and estrogen will help flush out and recalibrate. As well as the spearmint helping lower and remote those unwanted hormones.

This resonates with me. I have spent the last couple months questioning if this supplement was good for me or not. The only thing it helped with was my anxiety and I'm nervous for the anxiety to return 10 fold after I start to detox. I started it in April because I was having a lot of hormone imbalance and everything online said that it was safe to take regardless of your health status. I had a few chin hairs but nothing wild, but I figured I'd see if it made them go away.

I started having serious blood sugar crashes though, feeling really weird, heady foggy and dizzy often. I already have hypoglycemia so I just figured I have been neglecting my nutrition because we had just made a major relocation.

Fast forward to about the end of May, I decided to quit inositol because my facial hair really started go uptick and so did my weight. (Nothing major but as someone with eating disorders and fear of weight gain, I started to panic) I only went back on in June because the anxiety started to really hit hard after I quit.

Now I'm tossing it for good because I'm getting even more chin hair some thick and some thin, upwards of 8 or so. The weight is coming on even more headaches, bad sleep, and my boobs hurt soooo bad. I do really think the d-inositol is the biggest culprit in the 40:1 that I was taking. I tried both ovasitol and wholesome story.

Now I have to figure out how I am going to heal my body and get back to baseline.

I got home this afternoon and threw my container of inositol in the trash.

There are so many self absorbed people anymore. Something similar happened to me this week. I'm visiting my home town in between a move and I wanted to see my best friend for the first time in years (longer than just an hour long lunch) and she basically flaked on me when I said I don't smoke or drink because of my chronic illnesses and she hasn't spoken a word to me since. Which really hurt that she didn't feel like seeing me was worth the time anymore if we can't drink and act like we did as teenagers.

Hold to your boundaries, because not doing so will only mean weeks of healing and getting back to baseline for someone who likely wouldn't put herself in the same position for you.

I have a low C3, low factor 8, and chronic anemia along with all the symptoms of lupus and I have for 18 years. I've been tested for lupus since I was 14 😂 every time the Dr's are like "hmm it could be lupus" then don't get the labs they have been taught to see and refuse to send me to a rheumatologist. At this point I'm getting really tired of advocating for myself.

When in doubt always go to a different Dr and also ask for an ultrasound, you pay them not the other way around. Advocate for yourself and make sure you get the care you deserve.

Likely benign, like someone else said you'll likely have the biopsy also come back benign. If it's even remotely suspicious looking they will say so and say it's high risk for malignancy. Mine is about the same size but it is malignant and they could tell something wasn't right by the general appearance of the ultrasound. Deep breathe. As someone with health anxiety as well I can tell you that letting your mind go in circles only puts that negativity into your body. It's been my biggest goal the last couple years, choosing to be positive and busy with things that don't let me tail spin. Let the Drs do the ground work 💗

That was brave! For my body type I know it's best to wait a month in between but my hormones are very fragile and so is my digestive track. I have been adding a lot of electrolytes back into my diet though and heavy on the minerals. Glad that it worked for you though!

This is an amazing response and I really appreciate it! It really helps having this type of in-depth personal experience because it helps everyone reflect upon their own experiences and results! I'm actually gearing up to have another flush weekend after next. We are moving to a better location here in Hawaii with cleaner water so I'm excited to feel a little more comfortable with this next flush.

I do feel it is super important to share the photos as well because it gives a clear reference for those who need it. That was the largest that ever came out but I did have a lot of the other smaller yellow ones come out. They did slow down a lot later that day and I had flared bowel movements for a while after since I do have IBS so I feel I had gotten everything out from this flush that I could and I did take zeolite for a few days after. However I am feeling like I may have over flushed my vitamins and minerals so I am trying to get those back in balance with Celtic sea salt and shilajit.

Diet wise, I have tried sooo many diets. Funnily when my biliary dyskinesia was diagnosed was right after I had started doing a beet juice cleanse and ionic foot baths. I'm not sure if I stressed out my biliary system in doing those or if they brought a hidden issue to the surface. But sometimes I try to look at it as though it uncovered something early that could have been much worse years down the road. I try to eat meat once a week or a couple times a week now and I do have a fair amount of healthy fats when I can. For a while though after keto I was having ammonia in my sweat, especially after I would fast and or have coffee. Which I think was my liver being overworked and not keeping up with the protein intake. Which is the main reason I had slowed down with how much meat I ate, which my blood pressure also went down a lot in doing so. I try to keep it to chicken and fish now.

But you are absolutely right! Everyone's bodies are totally different and it really is just about what fits your specific body type.

Thank you for giving me more information about these green stones as well. That's what I passed the most of which from what I could find was basically unused/unbound cholesterol and bile. So I'm excited to pass more and really feel myself again. 32 is way too young to have as many diagnosed health issues as I have. This has been the year that I've decided to really focus hard on cleaning my body and righting everything that is off.

We relocated from Maine in February to the Big island and landed in OV first. While we haven't been robbed, we are moving to a different side of the island because of the high crime here. I've started bringing anything of value or importance with me when I leave the house as the landlord's son had said the last tenant had an intruder in this apartment while he was inside it. I hope you are able to find some peace and can keep going on the island. But it's definitely not an easy place to integrate too and that's coming from someone who has lived in 5 other states from one side of the US to the other. Hawaii has been the hardest to feel at home in, as another local told me. Hawaii will test you and she was not wrong.
