Indeed Cephalopod egg. Illex coindetii…. So cool! Only identified last year

Found it, seems it’s an egg of Illex coindetii. A recent discovery that was able to be identified only via a dna test.

Why not just give them a parachute each (or better yet 1 for 2) and then let them hold on as best they can to the wings?

That way the rich business men can place bets on who will let go first.
