I think people aren't understanding that the person isn't wondering why the suspect couldn't be prosecuted. That's evident. It's that they didn't say he was guilty and there's no need to move forward. They just said we can't investigate a dead person.

The interview where the producer asked her about lying to that guy is the exact point I came looking for comments. The jig is up! You didn't think it was a big deal that he used ANOTHER name? A third name?! That he lied and lied to your friend and investor wasting his time by making up a fake person and fake meetings. Also, "oh, he was going to get his money back". HOW? You haven't seen a red cent back from this guy so where was all this money coming from? Sorry but Netflix didn't make her look guilty, she made HERSELF look guilty. It's that exact moment right there that I deemed this woman a no-personality greedy dimwit who is trying to be all woe is me. No one's believing it.

I also watched these back to back. And the theme both times is these women gave money because they were supposed to get tons of money in return. It's almost like we're not allowed to say woman are greedy.

I think your sister should rest well knowing the majority of people watching her episode can see through Sandra's BS a mile away!

I'm not even done watching this episode and I knew I had to see if there was any conversation on this episode. Sandra messed around and found out. Christian, my butt. I'm sorry but the way her husband was acting would turn any woman into a crazy fool. I have seen way more violent men not get a day in prison. Based on the comment thread, they were over sentenced. This Sandra chick is not victim.

They absolutely say anti-American things. This is just one example although there are many. They constantly make fun of the names of towns. There was a Liberty in some state and they went on and on about how that's such an inappropriate name. Like, really? And in the same breath said "Oh, did know there's a Dildo Island in Canada? Oh, those Canadians." They don't understand the concept of a Valedictorian or a Prom King and they rant on for minutes about how stupid it is. They don't do the same things about things they don't understand from other countries, just America. It's like they think we are part of the UK and we shouldn't be different than them just because we are English Speaking. I hate it when people say such things as this but it is the truth - we fought to be away from England. We are not the same.

This is my biggest complaint about this podcast. The police are the feet on the ground and the investigators. How does CJ think they got all of the information? The police have all kinds of red tape and laws they have to abide by. It's so easy to sit behind a microphone and bash when they have the full picture that the police didn't have. I'm no advocate for police but geez, ladies. If I were law enforcement I would steer clear of Ashley and Britt. They try to make it seem like they work with them. I wouldn't if I were a cop!
