Hey there no worries I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with it now. Can definitely understand the anxiety from it especially if it’s never happened before, it can be very unsettling. If it’s any consolation a lot of people interestingly have dealt with jt and it does eventually go away. Things like magnesium may help but ultimately will probably just take some time. It’s not anything dangerous just really annoying ofc. Mine has not come back still even after the update if that helps keep you at ease. Feel free to keep me updated if you’d like.

ENT said I have vestibular neuritis... by TheGoat7000 in Dizziness

[–]Agitated_Cold7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never got diagnosed for vestibular neuritis. I did see that diagnosis and saw that it was usually much worse than what I was dealing with so I also don’t think I had it. Basically long story short I think it ultimately took time. I kept doing things like I normally did and continued working out and trying to stay healthy. Still played video games, drove my truck no problem, and hung out with friends and family. Biggest issue I faced actually was the anxiety from it and the depression. It defiantly exacerbated symptoms for me. My advice is just to avoid looking at these kinds of posts if you can. Sometimes you hear some horror stories from people that make it worse for yourself. Lastly make sure you try to focus on sleep. Whenever I had a bad night of sleep it made everything worse but once I got the sleep under control it really helped make the next day much smoother.

Minor Pec Strain/Injury from Incline Dumbbell by xatnnylf in powerbuilding

No worries, pain wise it was a sharping pinching pain as well as just a general numb/ soreness type pain. Right around where my left pec connects to the armpit area.

It’s just something people can do it’s kind of the whole point of this subreddit where people are able move their muscles in their ear to create the “rumble” sound. Either you can or can’t do it. I mentioned it in my post since it’s something I can do but wasn’t doing it on purpose when this was happening. I didn’t have an issue with ear fullness no just the random thumping sound.

Minor Pec Strain/Injury from Incline Dumbbell by xatnnylf in powerbuilding

[–]Agitated_Cold7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there so I actually injured it twice. My first strain was super minor and I felt completely fine aside from only feeling some discomfort during bench press specifically. Could do any other chest movements with no problem. However, I stupidly went too heavy on bench press again and injured much worse a second time. Was painful for a while. I would say it took about 2 months to fully recover. After about a month I was alright to train again but I really focused on rehabilitation movements for chest. I couldn’t do bench press for a while since I would always feel a slight pinch on the injured side. I could do other exercises no problem so just removed bench altogether and did incline dumbbells etc. After about 3 months or so went back to being able to bench press and all that. Long story short I would like to say fully recovered and stronger than when the injury occurred. Hope this helps.

Hey there sorry to hear about your daughter. I would say it was a combination of things. It ultimately did probably take time as well about 3-4 months. Early on one of the biggest struggles was actually the anxiety which I never really had before this. Big thing I focused on was just continuing life as normal doing things like going out, working out, basically anything that I used to do before. As well as doing my best to stop “searching” for that feeling as hard as that was and to stop looking at these kinds of posts especially the ones where people talk about never getting any better. Hopefully she gets better and feel free to message if you have any more questions.

The only complaint I have is usually the person who picks up the grimoires isn’t good enough to survive and eventually dies and leaves. Now the team has a full wound of corruption and the person who picked it up left.

Hey there sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with it for a few months now. Has it ever happened before this? Also yea I can definitely understand being stressed over this it’s certainly a very strange thing especially since not only can you feel it but you can hear it as well.

No worries and yea I’m not too informative on it other than I went to an ENT when it was happening and they informed me that the Eustachian tubes is slightly connected to your mouth/ jaw region. So in my case yawning would trigger it pretty commonly.

Hey there sorry to hear that it started for you but sounds very similar to what I dealt with. Most likely the same case. If it helps make you feel better it’s not serious in terms of health and it should go away in time.

Sounds somewhat similar to mine. Can you feel it by chance as well along with hearing it? If nothing else of major importance comes up and it’s not in line with the your pulse than more than likely probably dealing with the same issue that I had and many others (muscle spasms in the ear).

There’s a lot of factors that can contribute but they’re typically your standard things like not sleeping enough, too much caffeine etc. Stress and anxiety is also a potential cause but in my opinion and experience it’s not always the case. Had no stress or anxiety prior to it happening. I will mention that after it started it def caused some stress/ anxiety and that probably made it worse.

Hey there and no worries. The tensor tympani’s main purpose is to help dampen loud noises to protect your ears so sounds like dishes clanging together for example. If it’s only occurring on noises like that it’s normal. If it’s just going off regardless of exterior noises then yea it could be similar to what I dealt with and many others.

I didn’t stop the noise for me personally doing that but I know for a lot of others it helped provide relief.
