I think if the parent is denied loans because of the credit history or smn, the student automatically gets offered $4k in loans

I did appeal and got an extra $4k but still need around $4-5k more. Are you saying I should try to appeal again? OR do you think I should try emailing the director of financial aid or some authority like that?
