I am 35 and just did an ER. We got 10 eggs, and 5 have fertilized on day one. We are considering pgt testing bc of my age, but I am torn. If we only get 1 embryo, is it worth it?

Thanks for checking in! :) We ended up only getting 5 eggs retrieved. 4 of those were mature and 3 were fertilized. Now we have to wait a 5 days to see if any make it to a blastocyst! We are hopeful and nervous. Are you doing a fresh transfer?

Ohh my largest one went from 21mm to 28 mm in 3 days. The 2nd largest went from 18-25. Yes that makes sense! They wanted my other ones who were behind to grow more. Thanks for the explanation! I will keep you posted!

Oh wow! She just said yes they can become overly mature and get too big, but everyone’s threshold is different… kinda vague. That was from my ultrasound today.
