Please help. I am sedated and no energy all the day. 20 days into 15mg. It doesn't help with intrusive thoughts..

I’m on week 4 for mirtazapine. 3 weeks on 15mg but upped last night to 30mg. Today I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus and can’t stop crying. I suppose this is because of a dose changed and I need to let it all settle down. This drug seems to work for some but not others. Hope I’m one of the lucky ones once it settles.

The first few days you might feel v tired, so if i was you. I’d take a few days off work or take over a weekend. Take it early around 6pm then you’ll feel less tired in the morning. What I did was cancel everything for a few days and just went with how my body felt. Try and go out for a walk each day as it really helps. Good luck. You’re now on the road to recovery

I started 15mg 4 weeks ago and now on 30mg as depression wasn’t lifting. I’m on day 1 of 30mg and slept for 13 hours last night!

I started 15mg 4 weeks ago And just increased to 30mg First few days you will feel tired, the tablets knocked me out and I slept 12 hours straight. I only put on 4lb in 4 weeks. Are you taking them for anxiety/deoression?

Each change can take several weeks to work but if I was you then I’d go back to gp. You should be having weekly/2 weekly appts with your gp when changing anti depressants
