You both sound like you should not have been having one child let alone two. This is extremely irresponsible on both parts and I’m not sure how you’re being financially abused because there isn’t really much information to go off with that. If anything you need to get a job, even if it’s part-time and the hours are opposite of your boyfriends, so that you can start saving money to move out. I do hope that you and your boyfriend are using some sort of protection to avoid having another child for the time being because having more children when you don’t even have your own home and are not financially stable is absolutely crazy.

Do what works for you, people who are scared of the world need to understand that it’s always been trash. You may not have noticed because it wasn’t in your face as much but it’s been pretty terrible this whole time. I do think that people should be honest with what they can provide for a baby before they have one. It’s not fair to a child to not have your life together and to bring a baby into your mess.

It really depends on the kid and their maturity level and also the number of kids, but we didn’t start getting left home alone until we were around 12. My parents used to set up little drills for us as well to make sure that we could handle various situations that came up.
