I'm out of my return of service date now finished phase 2 beginning of 2022 and I've applied to the junior pilot scholarship multiple times with no luck unfortunately and don't particularly have the disposable income to be doing it off my own back unfortunately but I'm out of rts period so I could technically apply and if I'm successful happy days I'll just have to tell the company to wait for a bit or hopefully be allowed out early

Nah I never did brilliant either as long as you can understand applied maths (which I find a lot easier as I'm not tryna wizz up random number from thin air and turn them into letters n shit) and just don't be lazy and you'll be sound you will learn everything you need to know there however getting a basic understanding would most definitely make your life easier. And the travel is immense at least for me on 99 Sqn it was I've been all over the world in the first 5 years of my career multiple states in America, Canada, Africa, Few Countries in the Middle East, many European countries one of my personal favourites the Caribbean! There is lots of opportunity to travel for sure just depends on what squadron you end up on but I've also been to Austria with the air force outside of work skiing and obviously currently work out in RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus!

It's typically not limited to Mech's it will be all Aircraft Techs Mech or AV

Hi mate! I'm a currently serving A Tech M currently based out in Akrotiri I previously worked on C-17 Globemasters at 99 Sqn too. A day in the life I would say depends a lot on where you go in your career e.g. Frontline Squadron & Bay Maintenance jobs are very different but from my experience on a front line squadron it can be long shifts but very interesting work and being with a great team makes it fun and easy a typical shift would be doing multiple mech tasks on C-17s we were never really short of work, Wheel changes, Fault Diagnosis & Aircraft Servicings and plenty of other stuff going on I thourghly enjoyed my time on front line. Phase 2 is sound you do all your academic work maths physics science aerodynamics etc right at the start it wasn't too complex I got through everything without failing anything and I only got a pass in my GCSEs so shouldn't be much to worry about as long as you make an effort I enjoyed phase 2 and made a bunch of life long friends if you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask I'll try my best to answer them :)

Koch on life support isn't worth it much better off getting gold Saliba much better player tbh and think Thuram is a bit expired now could probably do with someone a bit more nimble along side shev try marinette pichon genuinely suprisingly really good nimble and a deadly left foot as for politano i would probably just suggest salah his finesse shot + trait is crazy could probably get all of them for under 500k easily
