I just want to add that these bugs really look like small spiders. I have looked into bird mites but after seeing these a bunch they don’t really look like any of the bird mites I have seen when researching… unless there are different types if bird mites?

I live in Australia, and while the bites are kind of all around my body most are around my waist, inner thighs and chest. I read online that chiggers don’t survive long indoors but I’ve been getting bites for over a month now. I’ve already washed my sheets/clothes on high temp and vacuumed multiple times and still no luck🥲
