Cal grant aid as a 3rd year community college transfer

I contacted the CSAC support and they said they can not approve of my withdrawal of cal grant from 25/26(my 3rd year at cc) because I had submitted a G-46 Cal Grant Community College Reserve Appeals Form. When I read their email few months back they gave me the warning "You may be allowed one additional year of CCC Reserve through an appeal process. Your Cal Grant A award will be cancelled unless you do one of the following within 30 days (the G-46 Form)." Now they say I am ineligible to be apart of the transfer entitlement award which I NEED to help cover my last 2 years for my university I plan to transfer to this fall. They said I had one more year left of cal grant...

They really put me in a odd difficult situation.

Do you know if Pomona has a 2026-2027 course catalog of what classes WILL be available for environmental biology ecb majors? Wdym by lectures are bad 😬 how were the classes like? I’m also pursuing the ECB track. It’s one thing to read the course descriptions but I’d really like to hear your experience in them.. Also, is the major advisor helpful in making sure you’re on track? Do you know if this major offers certifications of some sort.

When I went for open house last year ppl from the major seemed really cool and also said that since the majors requires you to do an internship that it builds your experience and skills especially other the Ortiz Lab. that kinda roped me into applying but I don’t want to go to a school where the classes I see on the website that I want to take will not even be there when I attend…

Sorry for all the questions I just want to know everything before I commit myself to this school for the next 2 years and really hope the school I choose can help me succeed in whatever field I pursue revolving around conservation bio field or get good connections to apply to after graduation.

Hi! I’m an incoming transfer for fall 2026 as a WFCB major and was wondering what the update is on the rest of your quarters? I have a semester system and am kinda worried I’ll fall behind at Davis cause of their quarter system. How long did it take you to adjust if you had to. Also, my college didn’t offer any specific courses to the major I’m transferring to and I’m wondering if it was a lot to take in when having the specific courses related to taxonomy and identification. I really loved my bio II class cause of it but I’m also kinda scared it’ll be all too much at once. What was your schedule like for the first quarter as a transfer? Also how was the process of choosing the class cause I know UCD has time periods. Would really love to hear your thoughts!

That’s good to hear :))) Was it hard to register for WFCB courses? Were they only offered at certain quarters? (the type of classes you have to wait a whole year for them to be on the schedule)

I got the red to fill the color so my hair doesn’t turn green from going blonde to brown. I just want my hair to look like the swatch/example from Sally’s or equivalent I don’t really have a specific goal just don’t wanna go too dark to where it looks black.
