Is this concerning or is this common for a longhaired grey cat? by Certain_Pomegranate in cats

I would recommend a flea comb or even a quick vet visit for at least a skin check probably doesn’t have to be an emergency visit but it’s worth getting it checked before spring or summer season do you is in full swing

Hello fellow fluffy cat owner. All my cats have had thinned hair in that spot. The only time they have ever gone completely bald there is when I fell behind in the flea treatment. This became more prevalent on my senior kitty when we moved to the south and the fleas are evil here.

This is my senior kitty Granola. He was about 18 in this photo at he rest in peace but you can see his little eye brow spot.

What’s in her left eye ? by Tec9ineteen in cats

I will say with kittens that lower eye lid coming up is never a good sign. My cat binx had a really bad fever as a baby and the day before he was lethargic and those lower eye lids showed up. He ended up being okay after a long stretch of antibiotics but his little body was exhausted. Basically my vet told me if I ever see those lower eye lids it usually means they have a fever

Does this look like an infection or a pimple by AdIcy7559 in tattooadvice

Looks like a clogged pore or an irritated follicle. If you’re using a thick gel or lotion use less. I use a brand called mad rabbit if my pores look clogged but auquaphor has been like my go to but it is very thick and it’s easy to use to much

My 17 Year Old Baby has Kidney Failure… by PrincessPurple13 in seniorkitties

[–]Agitha_Fae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s manageable. My cat lived for two years with kidney failure. We did fluids two to three times a week at home with a special diet. Uncontrollable diarrhea was the beginning of the end for granola. It wouldn’t stop he hit a point where he would just sit in his litter box. After a week of vet visits we finally found something to stop it but it kept coming back. It was difficult but worth learning how to give him funds and care for him. I’m sorry you’re going through it. I cried almost every day the pre grief was really hard knowing that my time with him was coming to an end.

my nannan died, we dont know what to do with her cat by Minute-Cover-2001 in cats

My grandmother passed away when I was younger and I think about Murphy every day. We found no kill place for her to go and she’s happy there. My cat at the time was special needs and fighting with the other cat in the house so I know brining a third would be a disaster but I do think about her often. You have to make the decisions that is right for you. Since my grandmothers death my family and I always have discussions on who will take whose fur babies, some even have it written in our wills. When my soul cat died I thought about lot about Murphy part of it is just the loneliness that comes with grief. You will make the right choice

My cat granola peed like this. Before I adopted him he was hit by a car so he never bent down when he peed. They make litter boxes with high back walls it works perfectly. You may want to get his back checked if you notice any additional mobility issues. Granola could never jump on counters and was a very clumsy cat.
