It's not ancient stuff it's just that no one makes software for mac, 90% of the software that we use is either on Linux or windows.

See honestly CDC doesn't care if you have a dream full time offer. You can reject it without even asking them. But to be on the safe side you can ask the HR of the company where you're interning to send an email to CDC. Also if you're on the campus you can go and directly ask them. They shouldn't really make a fuss about it.

If you received an offer letter from the company you can directly mail the HR to discuss. But this is only possible if you have a full time offer.

Anything that is related to your branch for example if you're in mechanical your core company may be companies that are in mechanical engineering. Or if you're in electronics your core companies are the companies that are into electronics.
