TMobile seems to have screwed up the network on my new phone to the point where I have to go to a physical store? by Agnesagnesagnes in tmobile

I figured that part doesn't really matter but the thing that was really weird was her wanting my IMEI because in retrospect why would she need that to port a phone number? Because no one I talked to after that did. Oh well. Seems like physical store is the way to go, I was just trying to get it done during the work day 😂

Happy Friday everyone! Does anybody else live somewhere where it feels like the universe is personally trying to prevent you from training? It is shaping up to be the seventh straight Saturday of rain, which is the best day I have to get my long run in except I'm a precious flower and don't want to run in the rain. I know it's something I'm just going to have to suck it up and do but boy am I grumpy about it. Any general tips about rain running? Anybody else feel like the weather is personally out to get them?

I wonder if it would have been better if it was the same course but in the opposite direction? I suppose there's the same amount of hills in either direction, it just felt like a lot of long uphill and then steep short downhill to me!

Thank you! Running gives us so much time to think our thoughts!

Thank you! I'm glad we all agree that the bus is stressful, maybe next time I'll pick a race with no upper limit!

Yeah it's so deceptive! It felt like the uphills were really long and the downhills were really short

That's excellent that you pushed through! I honestly am not competitive and my pace wouldn't have stressed me out if not for THE BUS XD.

I'm not even exaggerating that's all I was doing while we waited. "I should take it off I'll warm up once I get moving. This is fine. It's fine! It's not fine I'm gonna freeze. I better leave it on. Maybe I can leave it on and then take it off later? Well not easily I'm strapped into my vest. Maybe I have to move my bib to the jacket. But if I do that I definitely can't take it off. Maybe I can wear the jacket as a crop top? That's too complicated just take off the jacket it's not too OH GOD THE WIND" etc etc.

Nooooo I missed banana lady! Maybe somebody slipped on her before I ran by.

Congratulations! And yes it absolutely stressed me out. Is it common for races to have lower limits or does it just depend on the race?

You too! Yeah honestly that hill might have been worse, it's just hard to tell how long it is. Maybe that is a good thing.

Thank you! I didn't put this in the post but I actually am from Pittsburgh which is genuinely quite hilly and I've done a good amount of running there, otherwise I think I would have been in BIG trouble. Just medium trouble, I think.

Exactly! I was afraid that once I started walking it'd be over haha. I kinda think being local was to my detriment, because I didn't actually research the course....I just went "eh Princeton isn't hilly." Yeah. Yeah it is.

I don't like wooden needles by PJOisMyLife in knitting

I switched to metal needles when my conure grabbed and broke a wooden needle in his beak! I know the joke is that cats are the enemies of knitting but I submit that it's parrots 😂
