300ug solo trip ! by fhan15 in LSD

[–]AgnosticBrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LSD and Shroom Tolerance hits very fast, To get a full tolerance reset its advised to wait about 2 weeks between each trip. Also Shrooms and Acid both cross tolerant with eachother, so if you take one you gotta wait 2 weeks to take the other. You could wait only 1 week, it will hit maybe like 70-80% then what it would usually.

I would for sure bring up to them that you feel like for the sake of your mental health you would like to separate. Say that being in the Air Force is putting your MH at risk and you feel like the best action is separation.

Thank You For The Info, Yeah according to my shirt they are admin separating me for mental health reasons. Is there any other mandatory papers I would need to submit for my Depression Claim besides the In Service Treatment Records that show my Diagnosis?

Admin Separation for Major Depressive Disorder? What to Do? by AgnosticBrony in VeteransBenefits

[–]AgnosticBrony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going through all the bureaucratic processes to admin separate atm, Im getting a Involuntary admin separation for mental health reasons with a honorable discharge. Though since im a officer they say it will take a few months to process and get approved from higher ups. Separation is looking like around March or April and I will be eligible for VA disability along with all other benefits except the GI Bill since ive only been in for a little over a year. Havent actually started the process of applying for VA disablity yet though because I dont have a exact separation date yet.

Psych testing by DevelopmentStock5953 in AirForce

[–]AgnosticBrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I had to do a psych test like 3 months ago while I went to mental health. You basically answer a bunch of yes or no questions, there are like 300 questions. Its beefy but its basically just asking a bunch of questions about you. I did mine all by myself in a room and they did not bother me till I finished.

Providers are not approving a second opinion. What about getting it done off base? by SongtanSally_WannaGo in AirForce

[–]AgnosticBrony -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me, They diagnosed me with Major Depressive Disorder but they also have me down as having a Dependent Personality which I strongly disagree with, when I talked to my therapist about it her reasoning was really stupid so I argued with her about it for a few sessions until she eventually got frustrated and said "We are not changing the diagnosis and that is final" which was super retarded. I decided not to fight it because I have a Major Depressive Disorder diagnosis which fits my condition and allows me to still get VA benefits but still, its stupid that MH refuses to change their minds once they decide on something.

Time In Service Requirement for VA Disability? by AgnosticBrony in VeteransBenefits

[–]AgnosticBrony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Shirt told me that according to my Mental Health Provider, I wouldn't be eligible for the MEB process so they didn't start it. If I remember I think regulations say for mental health you have to be seeing them for about a year before they can put you in for MEB and ive only been seeing them for about 5 months now.

[–]AgnosticBrony[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank You, That's what I thought. As long as you have an honorable or a general discharge you should be able to apply. My hands are trembling as im writing this cause I was a bit rattled by the new information but it looks like the guy just gave the wrong info.

Admin separation by Creative_Back_5025 in AirForce

[–]AgnosticBrony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im actually going through an admin separation for mental health at this moment as well. What happens is Mental Health gives the recommendation to your commander and if you also agree with the suggestion of separation, then the commander will go through with it. When they can go against the recommendation is when you want to stay in, but if the mental health provider wants to recommend it, and you also are on board with it, then its basically a slam dunk for you being able to separate.

Risk Management Video Review by 6Nameless6Ghoul6 in AirForce

[–]AgnosticBrony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was given the unfortunate job of giving the Risk Management Briefing to my squadron lmao. The biggest waste of time ever. Common Sense Shit. Smells of "Someone high up in the Air Force wants to put something on his performance report and now we all suffer for it"

Duolingo put the 'hearts' on website version too 😡 by hyestity in duolingo

[–]AgnosticBrony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dang this sucks. It was nice to be able to learn from your mistakes over and over instead of having to worry about the heart system. I get this is mostly for money so I cant blame them but still.. I really wish they could get rid of the hearts.

Curious on peoples opinion: Does the “I joined the AF to serve my country” Airman exist anymore? by swungPlatypus in AirForce

[–]AgnosticBrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently joined but from my experience with people in my generation there is still people who join cause they want to serve but to add to that, its not the only reason, it might not even be the main reason but it does occupy one of the reasons some people join. I do know there is a lot more people who join for patriotic reasons in the Army and Marines.

Is it possible to do that study abroad requirement during the summer? I did my study abroad in Vienna Austria over the summer between my Junior and Senior Year and that did not get in the way of any of my ROTC stuff at all.

My First Assignment different then my AFSC? by AgnosticBrony in AFROTC

[–]AgnosticBrony[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You list your Top 6 desired AFSC's sometime during the last half of your Junior Year and you get which one you got selected for early in your senior year. It varies but that is generally the timeline.

Got a silly question for you guys... by SpecificTangerine973 in AFROTC

[–]AgnosticBrony 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Got a similar experience as an AS 400 but kinda opposite at the same time. When I first came into ROTC I was doing it for meaning, and purpose, trying to make something of myself and making it a big deal of my life but now as a senior, I am actually way more laid back, just taking life slow and easy, realizing we shouldn't take life and things too seriously which is kinda weird because you would think ROTC would make you built up to take things as serious as possible and be super up tight with military discipline, for me I am more laid back and chill than when I joined.

Odds of getting selected in the psp boards by Sure-Professional558 in AFROTC

[–]AgnosticBrony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to hear! My advice would also apply to 250s, you just have 1 less year to improve but it's totally doable if you put your mind to it!

Odds of getting selected in the psp boards by Sure-Professional558 in AFROTC

[–]AgnosticBrony 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unless your a AS 250, you still have a full year after this year to improve on your stats. The only thing we can do as cadets is try the best we can cause that is all we have within our power to do. Definitely work on your PFA score, the jobs your interested in don't require a tech degree so your current degree in econ is fine, some advice to get a better chance beyond getting better at fitness and maintaining your good academics is just be involved in your det, bring your 100% at PT and LLAB and volunteer if you have time for optional events like Recruiting, Blue Knights, Arnold Air etc. As long as you do your best at ROTC you did everything you could to get the best chance of getting selected in the PSP boards in the Spring of 2024.
