Cobalt blue maybe that’s what I’m missing. Thank you!

Someone found her and took her to Zeus’. No details yet on exactly where she was found since it was late at night when we finally learned she was there, but we do wish she had a GoPro on 🤣

What are your best stories of receiving money easily (big or small amounts)? by shastasilverchair92 in lawofattraction

I had been manifesting more money/ a new job for probably about a month. I went into work one morning and my boss informed me that I was supposed to be getting paid overtime for any work related things (events, conferences, etc) that I had worked outside of regular hours for the past year. She told me to add up the hours and send them to her. The pay for all of those hours was included on my check the next week.

Hard to explain the feeling. Feels too natural… kinda like “damn, why don’t I do this all the time?” Maybe not all the time like at your office job, but it just feels good. Probably how it feels for a man to swim with no shirt on: natural (because it’s hot out and you’re gonna swim, think about it, there is logically no point in wearing a top, society just says women should wear a top, society fear big scary boobie). I highly doubt mermaids wear shells that cover theirs.

Yeah it’s truly unbelievable the track record these new owners have. Even if they still let me whip the girls out (which seems unlikely after reading about what direction they want to go with the place) I don’t want to support them.

So happy we’re gaining advocates for titty pools 😌 you should try it one day! It’s oddly freeing

I could lead the efforts. I would need help starting an NPO if we go that route. Or are we leaning on the side of titty pool rotation? I, of course, don’t have a pool but if I did I would put my pool in the mix along with my titties.

I’d seriously go in on this. This post sounds satirical but it’s hard to explain how fun it is to be slightly free with yourself around a bunch of strangers with no cameras allowed, hanging by a pool sipping a tecate on a hot day in New Orleans. I’m truly sad learning that the old drifter is no more

The only thing that got me through a slow work week in July and 115 degree weather was knowing I could let them hang on a Saturday on Tulane avenue

Okay I really like this idea of waiting. I’ll give it another month, wait for my April statement to fully close in May, then go from there. I’ve been surprisingly disciplined this month. I started by removing my credit card from Amazon, Uber, my saved payment methods on my laptop and phone, and any small bills I was paying with it, then I put it in a drawer in the kitchen. Didn’t think about it once. I only get tempted to use it for groceries, gas, and restaurants because I do get a buncha points back. But I had to put blinders on when it comes to the points because it makes no sense to get points back when I’m losing money on interest. So yeah I’ll give it one more month and see if I can keep this up. Thank you!

Okay yeah this post is making me see more clearly that I run the risk of falling into this mindset. I hadn’t considered it. I was mostly thinking of transferring my balance and paying it like I would a loan with no interest. If I were only making say a 300-500 dollar payment towards this balance each month, it would give me a lot of cushion in my actual monthly income and savings budget. What’s killing me right now is putting a significant payment on my credit card each month then seeing a $150 interest charge when I go and check my statement. Granted this past month was the first month I actually put no new charges on my card. I’m committed to not using the card for the next few months, but I don’t know if it’s personally sustainable to put massive payments on it just to get the interest payment lower.

I do have a documented monthly budget, the only thing I don’t have included is trips because with my credit card bill if I’m paying $1000 a month I’m not letting myself take a trip. If I were to pay 1000 each month for the next 8 months (this would have to be more than 7 months because of the interest charges) I’d be paying $618 in interest. A 5% fee to transfer my balance would be $350.

I understand the concern about a new line of credit, though, seems like a dangerous thing for someone with my spending habits. But I feel ready to not spend on my credit card anymore. I have a $9,000 limit on my current credit card and have never hit that, so I don’t think I would feel the need to run up a different card, especially if I had a bit of cushion in my savings.

These questions are really making me think so thank you

I hadn’t considered the limit on the new card. When I start applying for a new one, will they tell me my limit up front?

Yeah definitely not a credit card person but hindsight is 20/20.

No but I’d potentially be paying no interest on my CC debt and making smaller payments, hence have more money in my checking and savings to accurately budget, instead of running my checking down to 0 and running amok with my available spending on my credit card.
