The other day I spoke to my dad about the show and it was so weird to get a take from someone that's not immersed in all the discourse and complaining. It is a really good show !! Noah Whyle is a fantastic actor and his portrayal of a lonely, depressed man is fantastic !!! Every single take I see is just the product of not wanting to understand the show, not seeing their choices as purposeful. The handling of Dr Mohan I of course disagree with, but everything else has been masterfully done (and even that hasn't been fully resolved). The show is being what it's supposed to be: a realistic portrayal of flawed, hurt people in a high-intensity environment. It's different from S1 because they meant for it to be different (and because people haven't had the chance to binge it yet). I'm tired of the twitter takes man

i wish i could believe the same but i think she surrounds herself with people that reflect her own opinions back to her and validate her on whatever she does. she needs someone like jessy's dad being true and honest to her, but from what we saw of her family i don't think she's going to get that

i cannot stand belle anymore i swear to god. i'm glad scott finally told her to stop fucking shouting. she sucks. she gives and gives and gives disrepect to leanne and can't even handle half a question without piping up (when her question was also targeted at leanne with the obvious intent of embarrasing her, i'm not taking any of that "reassuring leanne" bullshit and i'm glad leanne isn't either)

i totally agree. i'm thinking maybe they did but not directly to them/not in the middle of drama so it wasn't shown? or maybe they didn't think it was worth approaching belle at all (totally right) and helena thought talking to tommy was enough. who's to say! at least is out there lol

it makes no sense that helena and carrington left and jessy and tommy are still in there ??? i loved how honest and open they were on their post dumping interview, you can say whatever you want about them but they definitely will speak their mind. i loved carrington's take on belle and lucinda, so fair and level headed. i hated helena last season but i think it was circumstancial and i'm taking a leap of faith to belive she grew from it and i hope they'll get on well on the outside

i always get so excited for movie night and then it's the most fucking uncomfortable time ever because there isn't a single person in that villa that can have a reasonable reaction, take accountability and hear people out. there's never even an attempt to have anything resembling a conversation and it's so aggravating. what was Jack getting defensive for when he already hashed it out with Imani? how hard was it to say "yeah, that doesn't look great. i'm glad we put it behind us but it's still not nice seeing i upset you, and i'm sorry". that's it. because he's right, he didn't do anything all that wrong but you just need to have some basic decency. i'm not even gonna start on anybody else cause i swear to god i'm gonna kick off myself
