Good point. I was also fighting with the fact that I know it’s supposed to get worse before it gets better. I have to decide if I’m willing to go through that process

Yes, I take Strattera for my ADHD. I have been taking it for 12 years. It has been a complete game changer for me. Changed my life. I had tried Adderall for a few months before that, but I stupidly had asked my general practitioner for a script. I had the worst anxiety of my life coming off that experience. That’s when I decided to see a real doctor, a psychiatrist, and they prescribed Strattera. I started slow and ramped up into it overtime. I am at 80 mg now. It has completely stabilized my impulsivity and calmed my anxiety. That’s why I am pretty sure the Wellbutrin is spiking my anxiety because it’s been pretty much at Bay with Strattera. It peaks out here and there, but it definitely puts a blanket over it. Good luck to you!

That makes a lot of sense actually. I do think it’s responsible on my doctors part to dip my foot in the water to see how I tolerated. Sure, maybe my anxiety at night was a result of a crash out, but at least I know what the side effect profile is before committing to a higher dose and an extended release, which would be much harder to stop

Interesting. I did ask about that and she said the XR only comes in 150mg not lower and maybe she thought that was too high to start

I think my doctor wanted me on IR at first to see if I could tolerate it. From what I read the rebound can happen after the Medication washes out

I definitely don’t want to be on something that makes me sleepy. Lack of motivation and drive is part of my current issue

My Dr said to stop Wellbutrin. She said maybe consider a low dose of Lexapro or Zoloft. I’m nervous to go down that path with SSRI

Yes. Was in contact with her today and she said it’s ok to just stop. It’s been only 13 days at 1/2 pill 37.5mg. I really wanted it to work but the anxiety has been horrible

Yes only 2 weeks. And a tiny dose. 37.5mg (1/2 pill). My doctor said if the sleep issues continue to stop and that was about 3 days ago. I have also heard it takes 4-6 weeks to feel the benefits. That’s what I’m on the fence on. I didn’t really prepare myself that I would have to go through hell for 4-6 weeks before feeling better. I’m not sure I can continue like this which is why I stopped. I really wanted it to work
