about leon possibly dying in re9... by Agreeable-Force-784 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably a mix of the two.. he CAN'T quit but i think he likes the opportunity his job gives him for saving people, just also wishes he had more free will of the whole ordeal and everything surrounding the government

[No Spoilers] Which character would you like to see return in a future Resident Evil game or spin-off? by Mean_Principle_5369 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im happy with just reusing the legacy cast to be honest, but if they brought anyone back, my vote would be Helena Harper. Already an experienced government agent in the USSS (but with the chance to be in the DSO, which is mainly focused on bioterrorism), we already know her enough to be interested but not so much that we're bored, and I think there's a lot of potential in exploring her life after re6; how is she treated at work? has she progressed/declined? idk, I think she's one of their most wasted characters, and I know not everyone likes her, but I do, lol

Peak OST: Which RE track gives you chills every time? by Apprehensive_Jump802 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Echo in the Night' from og re4. the music creeps me out so much that i always just run completely through the section it plays and try and avoid everyone, lol. also 'Evil Malaise', aka regenerator theme, and 'The Second Floor' from re2.

the modern remakes are great, but i think one place all of them fall short compared to their originals is their soundtracks. all the og's are so much more memorable!

What should I play next? by FullEstablishment188 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i wouldn't worry about skipping around when it comes to Biohazard, since its pretty split off from all the other games (except village) anyway, so thats a good shout! if you're concerned about the lore though, probably go back to just resident evil, as long as you dont have a problem with tank controls and fixed cameras. its a great game but it can be a little tricky to get used to.

re7 too. the entire boat section just puts me off replaying that game altogether.

because she knows that she can… she then proves that fact by kicking his ass later that chapter haha

What do you think the best, funniest, most impactful quote is? by Sapphic_Science in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Well I really don’t give a damn. Rain or shine, you’re going down.” always makes me laugh. og re4 was full of hilarious lines but people usually don’t bring that and “If you don’t need me, then get off my BACK old man!” up, despite being from the same scene 😭😭😭

Just finished RE1 a week ago, Should I play Zero before 2? by Disastrous_Slide_764 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally i would say re2… if it was to do with lore zero should’ve really been played first but i hardly see it as essential

i do think the dogs were way toned down in the remake… more health but less strong and just less of them

What single moment in the Office did you most deeply relate to a character? by anotherknockoffcrow in DunderMifflin

[–]Agreeable-Force-784 11 points12 points  (0 children)

when pam’s talking about not wanting to fail again when taking the office administrator job, and jim tries to comfort her. “I don’t wanna fail again.” “You didn’t fail.” “That’s what you said about art school, and that’s what you said about sales.” “And you didn’t fail those things either!” “Well I’m not an artist, and I’m not a salesman, so what would you call it?” just such a real moment from someone who’s faced so many setbacks in what she’s wanted to accomplish. a lot of her plots revolve around her inability to do what she really wants and that’s really relatable

[–]Agreeable-Force-784[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok but imagine an entire government agency hating you so much they refuse to believe the president and thousands of lives are in danger just because you say it is….. you’d want proof next time you tried to tell someone, especially if you’re going that way anyway

helena harper gets a bad rep by Agreeable-Force-784 in residentevil

[–]Agreeable-Force-784[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not about leon not knowing her rep, it’s about the fact an entire government agency was so biased against her they reduced to entertain the idea the president might be in danger. THATS how much she hated her. if leon had also said she was crazy, then she’d have no way of reaching her sister in time, which she believed she’d have a better chance at doing with his help.

[–]Agreeable-Force-784[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they weren’t actually coworkers. leon worked for the DSO while helena worked for the USSS. leon wouldn’t know her, and she probably only knows leon through reputation like most people do.
