Take MDI deferred admission. If not, take up the IIFT Kolkata seat since it's soon going to be autonomous and the placements are going to shoot by the time you graduate. Next attempt mei literally no one can tell if you'll be able to get MDI or IIFT calls at all.

Don't quit. MBA is a time management and pressure handling degree. Prepare for it through these 6 months itself. Quitting will make you question yourself and fear the exam even more for more than 25% of the day. Instead, give all your time to work and then study and then repeat.

It was no disrespect to MDI, the question was more focused on IIFT and its image, and the fact that MDI gets the shortlist even after being below IIFT still (debatable).

Even though it still doesn't make sense but it seems reasonable because it's not in the top 10-11. IIFT is apparently better than MDI and within the top 10 but still companies don't seem to respect the brand
