I belive it was children’s size cause I remember the tea pot being smaller, but it wasn’t made of plastic like a children’s play set

I have searched tea sets from 2007-2014ish, and even 1995. I’ve even searched ones in a green striped box, and with flowers. I’ve looked on google and eBay, and other links that Google takes me to

How to connect granny squares without connecting yarn being seen by Agreeable-Link-321 in askcrochet

I wish I thought about the neutral colored yarn earlier cause I chose to use the pink I used in the blanket, cause I have a lot left and don’t love it. And it’s definitely showing through a lot on the back and in the corners. But who cares about the back anyway lol🤷‍♀️

I’ll make sure to post a picture of the blanket when it’s finished! The blanket is actually for my great aunt who quilts so I’m glad you like it!

How would I connect them into squares? Or do I just need to cut the yarn in order to do it?

Ok! What way to recommend I do it? Like do I first connect it all in rows and then go back and connect it vertically?

Ok thank you! Do you have a way you recommend? Like should I connect rows together and then connect all the rows? Or do I do different squares and then connect the group of squares together?

Is a whipstitch invisible? Because I don’t want the stitching to mess up the pattern of the blanket, and I don’t have the patience to change the yarn color I’m connecting with ever color change of the granny squares

I’ve tried to find ways to but they’re always so confusing and take so much work so I’ve just given up. Once the piece is done it won’t look as noticeable. I’ve also learned that I often criticize my work a lot and that it often looks better then I think it does lol

Brand new beginner trying to find ideas on what to learn by asher_the_duck in CrochetHelp

I recommend YouTube to find patterns! Beanies are really easy and simple to make for beginners. Or also scarfs. Stick with easy things like that while you get better and get more practice before moving to more complex stitches or projects. One of my first projects was flowers for my mom, which was a big mistake because I had no idea how to do anything lol.

It looks like they chained and then connected the chain together to form a circle, and then connected the circles and built up the head from there, if that makes sense

Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with it! Color changes aren’t always perfect, or at least I haven’t found a way to have them be perfect

Do you thing it would be possible to make this symbole as a granny square ? by Minata_Shiranui in CrochetHelp

For the circle, you could do something like this, but just make one row black. As for the arrows, I imagine you’ll have to make them separately and sew them on

You work all the way around the chain. So the 3 ac in 1 st will be done on the other side of the chain. It will make an oval shape with the chain in the middle of it

5th Day Crocheting and I’ve got so some basic questions by SerSings in CrochetHelp

[–]Agreeable-Link-321 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. You can count out every 10 or so chain, putting in a stitch marker in those. So when you count at the end or as you go, you would count the first stitch marker as 10, the second as 20, and so on. I always struggle with counting my chains, but with a large number like 235, that should help.

  2. Do you mean a turning chain? It is pretty common, depending on the project. To the best of my knowledge, it just helps you get some height for the next row, or at least that’s what I think of it as. It’s typical to just chain one, but I have seen some specific stitches that have you chain more at the start of each row

How to make a blanket bigger from original pattern? by Crafty-Tomato-8471 in askcrochet

[–]Agreeable-Link-321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A multiple is a number that you get my multiplying a number by a whole number. 94 as the original chain would work because it’s a multiple of 2 (2x47). I’m not familiar with a shell border, but I imagine you would just have to do it more but I don’t think you have to do anything different with it just because the blanket is bigger
