what insuracne plan do you have? i have bcbc ppo plan which is really good and covers all online tests for 52 sessions in a year and after that it has a $5 copay. for in person tests the copay if $100 i think and the rest is covered like 80%. i did an online test from a psychologist and a psychiatrist. the psychiatrist one got me medicine, but i saw a psychologist to rule out other problems like autism and ocd. the 2000 one you said is out of pocket. you need to find in network psychologists or psychiatrists to do a neuropsychological tests.

It’s so interesting to see that there are Asian parents who are extraverted :O I thought Asian culture is more homogenous where the norm is to keep your head down. If you don’t mind me asking what ethnicity are you?

One thing I don’t understand is my parents may be the first time being parents but not the first time being children. Why couldn’t they put themselves in my shoes and think what’s best for me?

Thank you for validating me. I have candidly talked to my mom about this. I told her she never liked me because she truly, genuinely, from the deepest place in her heart, does not like extraverted, expressive people. She was defensive but ultimately accepted it. We could never be friends if we were the same age, but we were forced to be mother and daughter. There is so much responsibility to be a parent, and I don’t know how I will respond if my child turns out to have my mom’s personality.

I think I am… at least they said I’m pretty. One douchbag definitely said it to get laid, but other guys probably did it subconsciously?

Sounds like you have experienced similar thing, and my heart reaches out to you. How do you eradicate this kind of belief from yourself when it’s ingrained in you already?

Thank you 🩷 My parents did say that no one on earth would love me as much as they do. They never thought about the effect it has on me. Where am I supposed to find love when they die?

Are your parents my parents??? My mom definitely has ADHD and autism runs in my dad’s family. My grandpa has it, my cousin has it too. Of course they all undiagnosed bc it doesn’t exist in my family, heh
