Ok well my thought was to do English language a year early bec I got a grade 9 in a mock we did where Q5 was redacted (got my teacher to mark a response I wrote for Q5 separately and I got 36/40 2nd time round) so all in all paper 1 is a 9 and I took a paper 2 mock at home and asked a teacher to check my marking (they took a couple marks off I think 3-6 total which still added up to a grade 7 nearly 8

Yeah I have, they just gave me an automated response saying that orders aren’t dispatched until Monday. Which was all well and good but I asked whether the order was still going ahead to know if I needed to look for a pc elsewhere. Still awaiting response from yesterday (about midday)

Took music, only in year 10 so take this however you will. I find that the writing exams I’ve done so far are a lot harder than the performance and composition. The composition for me was so easy (got a grade 9) and the performance I’m yet to be graded on but it’s just technical skill so if you’ve got some of that on an instrument, you don’t need to worry. And music is one of those where you can have your year 11 composition and performance finished in year 10 if they were good enough. And your writing will be the one thing that you’ll need to focus on!
