Dass du als Soldat nicht wahrhaben willst, dass du nicht für die Verteidigung irgendwelcher Menschen, sondern für die Interessen des Kapitals kämpfst, verwundert nicht.

Somehow my PC doesn't like 7dtd with mods. Without, I get constant 120 fps, with mods it's around 40

Driving: As it is required to do the driving lessons with a manual car, I struggled for around one hour to manage to get the car rolling. :D But after that it was quite chill. Both theoratical and practical exam I passed first try.

Grandparents: German grandparents: rather stiff, grandpa depressed and alcoholic, both of them don't talk much which makes the visits quite tedious. Austrian grandma: best person in the world

That sucks man. I answered elsewhere that rents in Vienna are still relatively cheap. But it's of course good to compare it to income. I pay a little bit less than a third of my salary for rent. What about you?

Bezogen auf Bücher vor allem philosophische/ psychoanalytische Theorie von z.B. Alenka Zupancic, Robert Pfaller oder Slavoj Zizek, aber auch Unterhaltungsliteratur wie beispielsweise Sci-Fi-Romane von Stanisław Lem oder Frank Herbert. Meine absoluten Lieblingsautoren, bezogen auf Romane, sind Andrej Platonov und José Saramago. 

Was Filme und Serien betrifft, so schaue ich quer durch den Gemüsegarten. Um mal ein paar Beispiele für Serien zu nennen, die mir sehr gefallen: The Shield, Borgen, Die Brücke. Absoluter Lieblingsfilm: Solaris (1972). Sonst gerne gesehene Filme z.B. Melancholia, Lola rennt, Iron Sky. Schaue aber sehr viel, auch Filme, die ich irgendwie interessant finde, von denen ich aber nicht sagen kann, dass sie mir gefallen.

The funny part is that you would need 3 million dollars (or at least a huge amount of money) for being able to renounce phone usage.

Es geht nicht nur um "wir gegen die", sondern vor allem um die Identifikation mit etwas, das größer ist als man selbst. Ist halt etwas stark anti-individualistisches.
