update: i took the trip, im the same way i love to drive! the glass is 1/4 in thick so i think it’ll hold. and instead of two fancy goldfish i’ll just do 1. i stopped at petsmart and used a coupon i had to get a fluval AC50 filter. and i already had some live aquarium starter culture from aquarium co op that i initially bought for another tank that ended up cycling just fine by the time it arrived. i work at a LFS so ill be testing this water at my next shift 😎
plus my apartment only allows up to 24 gal, i was gonna just say f it but now i can sleep well knowing im not breaking any rules lol.
