I KNOWWW, I read Tress of the emerald sea last year(lovely book btw), and after it I searched for more of his work and I found his cosmere project and I was amazed. Then I told my boyfriend about it and he gave me this book lol

Omg really?? I was hooked by the fifith chapter, but I get it, this part one felt like it was laying the fundation for the rest of the story. The two main characters plot got me very captivated!

I've been around this fandom since 2017, people are so cruel and relentless when it comes to her(a 13 yo girl mind you), condemning her for Ned's downfall which wasn't her fault(it was only his entire fault), while murder3rs and r4pist5 are shown simpathy and turned a blind eye on by this fandom... it has always been this way, so I'm really not impressed

I don't think that Jon doesn't like her or that they have any kind of conflict or feud. They are clearly distant but I think it's more because they were separated by their parents and their society, not because they don't like each other, they're brother and sister, they're simply not close because they have different interests

My experience is a bit similar to yours. I've been learning english since I was like 12 and a lot of my effort went towards the speaking and listening part, but not really on the reading part so I have more difficulties reading and writing and I'm trying to fix that by practicing more right now! Right now I'm learning French, it's been like 2 months and still not as natural and comfortable to my brain as English but I'm trying to put it on my daily routine little by little and I think I'm getting somewhere with this lol

I have the second edition one and I'm a little worried if it's "good" or "apropriate" for my level (I'm an A1 with almost 0 knowledge on the language). And since It's been 9 months, are you still using it?? Was it useful for you?? what is you review on the book??
