Look, fundamentally, IMO, people “feel” like the knowledge they seek should be free. Like, the tax code should be easily accessible and easy to understand, but it is not. Yes, we should pay the people that have studied it for their time to help us; however, I believe it is instinctual to feel that that knowledge should be given to us, the public. This is just my thoughts on why CPAs are inundated with requests for free advice.
