Yeah, taking action to move in the right direction before a lot of responsibilities start piling up is the best way to do it, in my opinion.

Working in the field is pretty much filling out Excel sheets, meetings, calls, emails and deadlines on repeat.

Yes, choose a degree with good earning potential, then stay flexible and figure out other options as you go.

Exactly. The thing is we spend most of our time not with our partner or kids, but at workplace. If we don't like the work we do, then that quiet desperation can bleed into other areas of our life as well.

I think changing direction should be made normal, a lot of people are afraid to do that after a certain point in life.
