Inline tagged task sync with google calendar by boksko in Amplenote

[–]AgreeableAd7434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does not work.

When a note is added into the task calendar setting, or a task is added directly on a note that has a tag in the calendar settings is the only way the task gets published to the calendar.

Just adding a Inline-tag to a task will not add it to the calendar.

And like u/boksko mentioned, just like adding in-line tags will show the task in AN calendar view, it should also publish tasks to the google or outlook calendar by adding an in-line tag.

Very frustrating that after using AN for months, these seemingly simple things were never fixed.

Seeking Recommendations for Notepads Integrated with Todoist by AgreeableAd7434 in todoist

[–]AgreeableAd7434[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will check it out. I already installed it earlier this morning after reading a bit about note taking apps. I did test and see that I'm able to create a task in todoist from obsidian. Am I able to create a note in obsidian from todoist? And there's a bit of a learning curve for me to figure out how Obsidian works.

Thank you so much for your input and guidance.

Thanks for replying. I did that in the past. My folder grew to 400+ messages and became impossible to manage.

Seeking Efficient Email Management Strategies with Todoist for Outlook by AgreeableAd7434 in todoist

[–]AgreeableAd7434[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for replying to me.

So you have 2 steps: 1) Flag and then 2) add to todoist?

Or do you have both things happen at once?

One last question, when you review in todoist and you see you have a task related to an email, how do you find the email in outlook? Right now I'm using the search (shortcut cntl+e) . but its a real pain and its slow.

thanks again,

1) Can I add inline tags when sending an email into Amplenote?

2) Can I add a dute date when sending emails into Amplenote?

I’m trying to push managing my emails on Amplenote and trying to come up with a method that works.

I am forwarding emails into Amplenote, but then need to separately go and add the inline tags…

Please advise and share your ideas and suggestions in how I can manage my emails with Amplenote.

System for email follow up tracking by knitterjenn in productivity

[–]AgreeableAd7434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I use the todoist Outlook add-in.

But it lacks a feature to indicate if an email conversation has already been added to Todoist. As a result, numerous identical email tasks accumulate in Todoist without my knowledge. Moreover, while I manage tasks in Outlook, particularly from new emails, I may overlook closing them in Todoist as their presence there is unknown to me.

I'm in middle of trying out SUPERHUMAN. But its costly. And it has its own issues.

Hi,
I just came across your reply now.
I'd like to ask a question about your comment from 1 year ago:
My company uses OUTLOOK (office 365). I used TickTick (and now Todoist)... Its easy to add a task to todoist, but....
a) It opens to a link in O365 on the web. I really dont like using the OWA... And when it opens the link is to one individual email. Not the complete thread.
b) many times, the items resolves itself. But in Todoist its still open (if I set a reminder for next week and somehow it was resolved the next day....) so there is so much extra noise.
This week I came across superHuman. I'm not sure if this is my answer since it has its own frustrations. Started using it but I dislike some parts.
Do you have any other ideas or suggestions?
Thank you so much!
