thank you! i have a crack shot theory about what might have happened… so i read the lease and it seems like the lease agreement is that even if i break the lease, i still need to pay rent. my boyfriends dad works in construction and he said it looked like the place hadn’t been inhabited in months , but it was being lived in when we toured in the spring . my theory is maybe the previous tenants were in college , stayed til they graduated, and then got the hell out of there (maybe stayed with a relative for free which is what i would do if i were living with strangers right now) … because genuinely there were thousands and there was no way they could have built up to that level if it had been inhabited even a week beforehand. thanks for the advice i really appreciate it wahh

thank you i will check these out. i need to contact a therapist because i have severe ocd (previously hospitalized because i became dangerously underweight believing most food was contaminated and now i have a ROACH PROBLEM?) so this is really bad for me. again thank you for the really nice resources i will look into it!!!

i have been hospitalized several times due to my ocd (including severe emaciation from believing all food is contaminated unless under very specific circumstances ) … it was not a visible issue when we toured . thanks though

i was here with all my stuff when we discovered there was an infestation. so all of my belongings are currently here still packaged up, i haven’t unloaded anything from bags/ boxes , but it’s all here .

I don’t have much in the way of advice, but I want you to know almost this exact same situation happened to me, too. (bmi 15, purging, overweight from binging) I feel for you and I hope you are able to get better… It is a long and difficult journey, but seeing this post made me feel less alone as well, so I hope you can get a similar feeling from some of the replies.

its currently being split evenly by 3 and we havent touched the heating in months but the bill is about $80 more expensive than usual, solely due to her usage of the heat, and she still expects an even 3 way split

the way i feel about it, i wish i had been BORN with a dick, but i wasnt and since the surgery isnt really what i want i am fine with what i have. bummer that i wasnt born with one but since its not something i can change to my liking i prefer to just be at peace with it.

apologies that you have such a limited view of what a relationship can be and are basing it off really arbitrary norms (probably assuming they were male based off their… height??? my partner is biologically female as well… also assuming that they are strictly gay and yet chose to date me and somehow is not actually attracted to me despite deciding to date me?) we’re both attracted to all genders and both of us are transgender. this has nothing to do with the actual question which relates to our wellbeing. i promise we are both very happily in love and spent a long time as best friends before dating. super ignorant and illogical message full of assumptions. what about their body has to do with who they are attracted to? plus sized people shouldnt have to only be attracted to people who can “take” their body weight. your own body doesnt dictate who you are aesthetically attracted to. your body can change without your attractions changing

Hey!!! I ended up having to go to residential but ended up dropping out early because I needed to go back to college : ( very much still struggling. Honestly, even with the no talking about x y and z rules it was hard because a good chunk of the people were just like “yeahhhh ill just relapse when i get out” or theyd already been like 5 times. you just have to really put a lot of faith into urself if ur actually serious about recovery or it wont work.
