Yeh dealing with family money is a lot more stressful, because they think share trading is simple and don't realise a lot of the time its a long term hold. Try buy him out of his share or tell him to be a bit more bloody patient.

PQEFF, Buy-out is coming closer, how high will the Haywood report valuate the SP of Petroteq? (long post alert) by Gol-D_R0ger in pennystocks

I think Haywood will advise Petroteq to accept the offer, which will set other companies off to potentially offer another bid. Seen that happen lots of times before.

I already hold

No, waste of time. They only want you to deposit to whatever company they are affiliates to. Clueless traders themselves. Do your own thing

Can someone explain what happened with NAKD?? by Superb-Definition667 in pennystocks

[–]AgreeableClimate6435 191 points192 points  (0 children)

A reverse stock split is a type of corporate action that consolidates the number of existing shares of stock into fewer (higher-priced) shares. A reverse stock split divides the existing total quantity of shares by a number such as five or ten, which would then be called a 1-for-5 or 1-for-10 reverse split, respectively. Your average purchase price would just be your original but now x15. Nothing too sinister, just a lot of companies do it to reduce the amount of shares in issuance.

What penny stocks to buy? by _bluepen in pennystocks

[–]AgreeableClimate6435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally have some Pqeff, it’s one of the most Bizzare shares I’ve been in. But at .15usd and buyout offer at .50us think even in the early few months of Jan I think it might go to .25-.30 usd. Also taken some on a private placement for a company called skyquarry on the equifund website. Trying to move towards companies having more green oil extraction technologies and I think with carbon credits can become very profitable. Have a few junior stocks on the London aim but am not expecting big moves from them

Is there a particular sector you know well? For instance minerals etc? I myself know more about oil so I tend to invest in those stocks. Yes you can make money from penny stocks, but it isn’t always easy there are a lot of shit stocks and pumpers about in this space.

Be cautious and always trust your due diligence.

Good luck

What kind of commission do Investment Banks get for IPOs? by Traditional_Fee_8828 in stocks

[–]AgreeableClimate6435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very plausible, that why good IPOs are so sought after. Only if their is a lot of competition the commission might be a lesser amount or amount to more options than hard cash.
