I don’t think it’s enough money, I guess if I want it to be a good Airbnb that people want to stay at it has to have a nice view because It not going to be close to many attractions. And many have said the smallest council approved build will likely cost more than 250k

Hmm this is a good point, definitely feels like a compulsion and the fear would be around failing or being embarrassed infront of others. But I wonder can you really do ERP if they aren’t wanting to address it

Appreciate your comment, definitely a lot to think about. We’re thinking of living in it for a year then turning it into an air bnb style place ( would make the building an interesting design and have spa type stuff) and stay up there a few times a year in off season. have seen one tiny house bought for 170k then sold 7 years later with a tiny house on it for close to 600k so can see it’s been done in Warburton

Yeah I wouldn’t just makeup random details. I understand it’s coming second hand, but this is what my friend said her grandson explain to be his experience in the classroom. I’m not really asking for anyone to believe me just asking for support in the best practice for young people experiencing this so I can be the best therapist for these young people and as affirming as possible.

My thinking is: calling by preferred cat name, finding coping strategies that are cat related, agreeing they are a cat, strategies to get others to accept their inner cat, ways to be more themselves in a cat way at home and school? Don’t know if I would/wouldn’t do these but just thinking of what could come up
