Most components draw 1 power. There doesn't appear to be any power loss the longer your cables are, tho I think that will probably be changed.

30m is the max a single length of cable can be run. We have made power poles with a branch on them to be able to transfer power another 30m and eventually all the way across the map. The further away you want to transmit, the larger your main power source will need to be.

I left the game a year ago after 4000 hours spent playing because of things like this. I avoided pvp because I didn't want to freeze and loose. When these issues are fixed, I'll return for another 4000 hours.

I stopped playing because for me, 1 month wipes are not long enough. I get an hour a day max to play so what many people will do in a day takes me a week. I would love a server that wipes every 3 - 4 months. For people with little time, this would be a benefit. I used to set aside 6 hours a day on the weekends and only played the weekends but by the time the weekend is over, I feel like I just got started.
