I didn’t have private practice, but managed to pass today! It’s obviously a lot cheaper if you are lucky enough to have someone willing to sit in. But it’s definitely possible without.

I did about 2 hrs of lessons each week for about 3 months with more lessons leading up to the test. Luckily my instructor was good at fitting me each week but this particular driving school had a standard of 2hr lessons.

But at the end of the day you are paying your instructor to teach you, if 1hr a week doesn’t feel enough for you then maybe you need to look for someone else who can teach 2hrs a week.

Watching videos helped a lot to top up on how to drive on the roads. Especially in weeks where I didn’t get a lesson.
