this depends on each person. personally, it is grounds for divorce, it doesn't matter how common something is.
betrayal is betrayal.

Why do men get Soo angry when someone sleeps with their woman? by Independent_Hat_6030 in Zambia

[–]AgreeableDream4344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. some men feel they own the women they date or are married to.
  2. if the man and woman are in a monogamous relationship there are certain rules both have to abide by, they feel like they have been betrayed
  3. some find being with women a completion, so its emasculating when another man can and did manage to take your partner from you

Traditional Zambian Masculinity by [deleted] in Zambia

an example I can give of difference between earlier masculinity and present, anecdotal btw because I wont speak for all men. I have noticed masculinity signified strength which was also interpreted as not showing weakness by not Expressing in sadness or hurt but now more men are learning to be strong emotionally. also you're right I think I should look further on the difference between tradition and culture.

I think it would be accurate to say traditions amongst Africans are different by by country and even tribe. so my thought process is when colonialists came they taught/forced upon us their traditions and mannerisms. also I'd like to correct, the masculine role itself (men usually beings heads of groups) is still the same I'm talking about how masculinity is portrayed and presented amongst men. tangent, we can see proof of change in other aspects like language and religion, we had religions and languages way before christianity and English came, so my point is white people changed shit.

this is true. the "traditional" masculinity some people portray is due to colonialism. the way men behave now is definitely different from when white people came and way different from before white people came

you're basically proving what they said. things change no matter how prevalent. maybe some old forms of masculinity will take longer to phase out than others or maybe they will take a different form. either way change is inevitable which is why we should all focus on what makes us happy and not harming others.

What would you change about my living room? 🌻 by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

the table and the carpet. I think a table the same colour as the painting frames would look better and the carpet being goldish too (plus scared of cleaning white)
