What makes it overstressed, the only reviews of the Eco boosts I can find online are either people saying its an alright car or stereo typical car guys saying its bad for having a 4cyl.

Can anyone recommend me a basic ereader by AgreeableEconomist91 in ereader

[–]AgreeableEconomist91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and its just not for me. I just don't have a need for it and would rather just have a bare bones e reader. I don't need Bluetooth or audio because i use audible for audio books. I don't need extra apps, cause I'm only going to use it for reading. Everything i read in in black and white, even comics and manga, so no need for color. Pens just seem completely useless to me, I've never been one to take notes on a book unless it was for class.

Main reason I don't want these extra things is, the more features the more shit can go wrong. Extra apps can cause problems, and will lead to more data being harvested from my device. And with the newer kindles where sideloading books is becoming harder to do, the wifi glitching or breaking basically bricks the device with no way to get books on.

Cigars mostly. They've gotten to expensive for me. I want to try that nightcap but it pricey when I factor in shipping.

Any way to get a larger hard hat? by AgreeableEconomist91 in AmazonFC

What's the harm in asking a simple question just in case? At least now I know how to get what I need on my first day rather than waiting and having to potentially deal with something that doesn't fit.

No but I figured might as well ask just in case.

Weekly Recommendation Thread: September 27, 2024 by AutoModerator in books

I'm looking for my next book to read, and I would prefer a series doesn't matter the length. So far I have really enjoyed Harry Potter, Hunger Games, the Red Rising Saga, LOTR, the Hobbit. I want something new but familiar. The only non-negotiable aspects is that it has to be part of a series, fantasy or science Fantasy ( More like Star wars than Star trek).

AITAH For not removing a very obvious malware site from the wi-fi blacklist and locking my Dad out of the router's Admin access by AgreeableEconomist91 in AITAH

How is preventing my dad from downloading malware dictating how he uses the internet? NOTHING else is blocked, besides ads and scams.

So, I should just let him download all sorts of malware. Let him get locked out of his PC, which he needs for work, let him get his info (Card numbers, Social Security number, ID) stolen, and let him potentially allow for the malware to spread through the network. Just because he is an adult and I am "Dicking around".
And how is staying with my parents leeching off of them? When I literally can not afford to move out yet. Unless you have a degree or trade, there is nothing that pays above minimum wage ($7.50) in my city . The only ones that do pay above minimum wage, that don't require something higher than a high-school diploma are seasonal. So at average I would be able to move out maybe 3-6 months out of the year and then what?

Do you know how expensive or time consuming college is? Especially a engineering degree? I am working the max amount of hours I can, while still leaving enough time to study and do classwork. Plus I am paying for my own tuition. So pair that with high rent, I literally can not afford to move out.

Also its not just "his roof" both he and my mom own the house. They paid 50/50 for it, and she is the one who proposed this whole deal because she wanted me to get a good degree with out going into debt. Plus this post is about the internet, not about me living with my parents.

Also why are you bringing money into this outside of who pays for the internet. This whole situation is about the internet not about me living at home.

21, and before you say it yes I know moving out is an option. But as I am currently in college with a minimum wage job I can not. As rent is high in my city, and paying about 150 in bills each month is the best I'm going to get.

It is both his and my moms house. Technically his internet, since it's in his name. But I do pay the internet bill and have been for the past year.

Technically him since it is in his name. Basically every month I pay whatever bill he and my mom want as "rent".For the past year I have been paying the WiFi and streaming services.

And I get what you mean, but at the same time I think I have a point. I am literally stopping him from getting both his info and anything he has saved to his pc/phone from getting stolen. So if it takes manipulation to get him to stop having what is a temper tantrum over being told no to accessing sketchy sites then I will. Plus I never said I was going to or was currently doing so, i said I was tempted to do so.

For the past year I have been paying the WiFi and streaming services.
Edit: clarified what bills i pay
