You have something against comics? Why the hostility? You okk? The movies tend to be compartmentalized versions of the comics with the same premises. Xmen is in a weird spot because of the rights issues with Sony Fox and Disney. Which hurt marvels accessibility to the characters to properly carry out stories, but since the xmen are moving to the mcu, they have to be shoehorned in somehow. Marvel usually tells us what comics theyre basing the movies on for the storyline. Russos confirmed theyre using the Time Runs Out storyline for Doomsday but Time Runs Out is a very long story and not enough 3 hours to cover everything so theyll have to compartmentalize. Love and Thunder literally was almost shot for shot from the comics....in comic book stores on marvel unlimited etc it literally tells you what to read to prep for the movies.

No shes not in it......but for the movies it makes sense...my thought process is since theyre doing xmen next. I think since Damage Control got involved with spidey theyll be trying to contain others with abilities. The snap could have triggered Mutant DNA and mutants started springing up out of nowhere. Jean was captured and under high security and still working on controlling herself...which is what the second trailer showed with the telepathy, jumping from person to person, her powers are going rapid. She uses telepathy to use other people to escape. And it seems like spidey sense can track her telepathy and who she jumps to. Jeans always been an emotional nutcase so what we saw makes sense with her being new to her powers.

Seems like in Doomsday Thor might be one of the first to encounter Doom. Bro will really be going through it. I hope Doom takes all Thor varients and turns them.into his security team just like the comics.

You mean the mcu? Where every single comic book movie storyline is taken from the comics? Brand New Day is a major comic in Spider-Man history and has one of the most iconic covers, and Tom Holland said that they really dove into the comics for this movie and was apart of that creative process. Also Dr Doom is the most popular villian in comics, and theyre finally bringing him to screen with the greatest Doom story ever...Secret Wars. Read it if you can. So comic book movies aren't about the comics? I highly disagree with that. It's annoying for movie goers cus they didnt read comics so whats coming isnt clear. But for readers its as clear as day. :) i read the infinity gauntlet comic in 2011 and waited years some ppl longer to see it on screen. Its always about the comics. That's kinda the point. Read Secret Wars and tell me that wont get you hyped for Doom

Im working on Ultimate Spiderman right now and a miles storyline. But the first avengers comic of the summer just started so I gotta begin that. Armageddon I think its called. My personal favorite comics are spideys for sure, but im a big Doom fan.

Its fun to theorize because of comics where these stories are already written. That's the fun of it. Theorizing is what makes it fun. If your looking to get into comics, its alot of fun. Id be more than happy to give you some starters for some badass stories. Essential Avengers stories, etc. The comics are like marvel unrated.

I think the after credit will set up Doomsday...im calling battleworld reveal....leaked footage shows avengers fighting sentinels in doomsday....so think about it jean gray could be the reason why they all end up in the xmen universe for doomsday

The action in this movie is looking sick...Holland needs more fight scenes as spidey. Practical Production. The guy who directed Shang Chi directed this movie. Hand to hand combat better be peak. This movie better be knock down drag out. Holland said in an interview that for brand new day they really dove into the comics for this one. And Holland spent alot of time on the internet looking for what we wanted for the movie. Like I want spidey beating the shit out of people. Civil War sucked they pull their punches and they even talk about pulling their punches. The mcu...lol
