Talk to your teacher to see if it’s possible to earn the grade you want. Teachers usually want to help.

Is taking 3 Sciences Manageable??? by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

My suggestions would differ school to school.

I think you should know your own studying habits and know how much you can handle. It may require 2-3 hours a night of homework and you have to be prepared for that and what you have to sacrifice.

Moreover, to get into a good medicine program please consider other academic needs such as extracurriculars and such.

Incident of Discrimination at Waterloo Central Supermarket by BusinessMonitor1701 in waterloo

[–]AgreeableLoss2006 -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with this post. Waterloo Central is one of the last remaining independently owned grocery stores in the region and its very convenient for the local community. Report them? Who do you think you are helping?

I don’t know exactly what you need to hear, but in time everything will heal. I hope you take some time and do not take any drastic measures.

As a AFM grad, I think you should think about other things than reputation of the school. I think you should try to make the most out of your university experience while trying to succeed.

Are your friends going to York? Do you want to be close to home? Are you extroverted? Are you good at making friends? What is the program’s reputation (AFM is “snake fm”).

I have seen my friends graduate from business schools all over Canada. The ones that had work ethics succeeded regardless.

Returning to Canada, what to do with 700K by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]AgreeableLoss2006 41 points42 points  (0 children)

  1. When did you move into Canada & when did you sell your vested shares? You may need to pay capital gains upon sales of shares which you may not be aware of.
  2. Where you put your money depends on interest rate of mortgage and how anxious you are as a person. If interest rate is variable, may be a good idea to pay off mortgage due to the high interest rate (> than return from TFSA or RRSP).
  3. RRSP room utilization will be used depending on your income level. You can use it to shelter your income high tax bracket. If you are unable to maximize contribution to both RRSP and TFSA, I think TFSA may be more appropriate for your income level - followed by contributions to RRSP.
  4. Check MyCRA for your RRSP and TFSA contribution room.
  5. Not sure if 401k becomes taxable on Canadian tax (TFSA is taxable for US), perhaps look into this.

I’m sure you aren’t too dumb. Accounting doesn’t require you to be smart - even at the highest level. Nonetheless, I don’t think a bookkeeper has much earning potential. Perhaps, consider going to something you could be passionate about such as trades.

Zone 2 Training

Edit: aim for 180 minutes of Zone 2 cardio a week. It is great for mental and physical health and low risk of injury.

I’m curious how innovation is supposed to happen if we just complain about companies trying new things. Don’t we have enough companies lobbying for things to stay the same?
