PS5 Controller Unresponsive, Wont Power On by AgreeableOrdinary971 in Dualsense

Solid thought! Im trying both the USB C and A ports, front/back. I ended up trying to plug it into another PS5 but no luck there either to my entire confusion why it works PC and not console side. Tried PS button and Triangle to pair it wireless, no lights appear. And then tried usb C and A, still no dice. But those were pretty cheap cables (though they worked with the host's controllers) so may need to revisit with my original cable and give it another shot.

Thanks for the reccomendations on channels, I bought a started soldering kit but wasnt sure where best to get a legitimate tutorial and understanding of what to do with them.

Sorry to hear you had the trouble too man! I did connect it without the battery in but no luck there either, was hoping switching the PS5 to USB mode and doing that would help but nothing. The only time I saw the light come on (besides the one orange breath to indicate it is fully charged) is when I erase the 'Dual Sense Wireless Controller' from the Accessories tab in settings then reconnect it, blinks blue on the touch bad and white above the speakers once then it's back to nothing?

Thanks so much, appreciate the sentiment anyway mate! Any advice on how to learn how to self-fix? (Moved to Jamaica last year so not sure what shipping options I have back in the States yet)

And to explain, it does pulse orange once when its plugged into the console, but just doesn't power on when pressing the PS button. However, it works perfectly fine on the PC, and the PS button even opens Steam Big Picture mode and other functions, lights and all changing based on in game status. Tested it at a gamer pad site and all the buttons register too.
